I have red and black going to power the CDI and blue and white is the pick-up trigger. My red and white runs to a bullet connection and powers the enricher with AC about 13 volts

The red/black on a AC type CDI can be anywhere from 50+ volts to 90+volts.. mine is 105Volts...
below 40volts and the spark will be marginal... (weak)

fly wheel

Alley, I don't know...just what people have told me... most just use the old flywheel, but a few have said that the 8 pole didn't work with their 11 pole stator... but I think in those cases it was rectifier/regulator mismatches.
But I have never seen a true 11 magnet flywheel either...all the ones I have seen have 8 magnets...
I know they SELL flywheels with 11 pole stators, but I bet they are still 8 magnets...
I could be wrong.. won't be the first time!!! ;D

Those supertrapps are great and not too bad in cost...use a stainless exhaust header... but I still think you need a reducer to work with the 1" pipe...

If you are going from 8 to 11 pole the 8 pole flywheel will work in 95% of cases

Stator,pick-up coil, high tension lead or the plug boot.. they can all go bad
Check the AC volts on the black and red wire from the stator to the CDi should be 50+ volts AC.. anything less the stator is your problem...

If you get the exhaust running too well you will loose vacuum and the engine won't perform worth a damn..the GY6 needs a balance between intake vacuum and exhaust back pressure...

Where is it leaking oil? Into the CVT? might be a crank seal...

I use 0W40 Mobil 1 full synthetic.. I was a Castrol guy for 40 years.. in the GY6 the Mobil 1 is noticeably better...runs cool and smooth

Something is not right...the back wheel should engage at about 1800++rpms could be the weights could be the tach...
Don't be running the engine at 8200+ rpms on the center stand!!! you will ruin the engine or put a piston through the head...
These engines need LOAD...
