Look for a Givi windshield for a Honda Reflex hurliman1 . Your scooter is a copy of this scooter and the windshield will bolt right up and is taller and stronger. JR

A tight space but easy to unbolt and replace.

ty20 You will find that most of the alarm systems are a pain and that you are better off to simply unplug them. It sounds like it's programming is messed up and leaving the power on. The remote start is actually a electronic key and is tied in to the ignition key switch power. Some of them can be reprogrammed to work properly again some not. When you unplug it you may have to put a jumper wire on the engine kill circuit? I would need a picture of the wires and their colors on the plug that you remove from the alarm. Is this a 2 stroke scooter? JR

One should never charge a scooter battery too quick hulk24 . The 3 amp charger will do fine but myself I like a lower than that charger. I use a slow 1 amp charger myself. JR

When you say will only start with the kick starter you mean it won't turn over electrically right?

truesinger2016 Lets start with looking at the wiring diagram: thescooterprofessor.proboards.com/thread/4447/schwinn-wiring-diagramsThis is a DC type CDI system so the first thing I need to know are you sure you purchased a DC type CDI? The scooter also has a kill switch on the handle bar along with the key switch, if either are bad in the way that they are in the engine kill mode the scooter won't fire because the key switch and engine kill switch have the CDI grounded out. Look the diagram over and then get back. JR

If that's the case jimbo1710 then a little over 13.5 volts is common on this engine. The stator even though 18 coil like the Linahi isn't as big/strong. There are a few things you can do to milk out another 0.5Vdc and you've already started with some LED's. Replace even the instrument and license plate light with power saving LED bulbs, make sure the battery connections especially the ground wire are very clean and where the ground wire hooks to the frame the pain is removed so you get a 100% ground. Lastly if you know how and want to you can replace the blocking diode with a relay that will add a bit more. With all this you can generally get it up to 14Vdc or a tad better. JR
