My Eurostrada moped which is an Rx 50 style will not seem to hold a charge overnight. It is a brand new battery and when I first received it ( from someone else) in September it worked perfectly fine with the Wireless key start and alarm and it would turn over with the key in the ignition. But now it seems that the battery will die after night if plugged in and also when the moped does work i have to keep turning the accelerator otherwise it will die on me. Please anyone help me. I feel like the problem is the alarm system draining my battery but when these were brand new they worked then so idk...

ty20 You will find that most of the alarm systems are a pain and that you are better off to simply unplug them. It sounds like it's programming is messed up and leaving the power on. The remote start is actually a electronic key and is tied in to the ignition key switch power. Some of them can be reprogrammed to work properly again some not. When you unplug it you may have to put a jumper wire on the engine kill circuit? I would need a picture of the wires and their colors on the plug that you remove from the alarm. Is this a 2 stroke scooter? JR
