Yes. Standard plugs haven't changed in a dog's age. A slight defect in the insulator could have the plug firing somewhere else besides electrode to ground strap. Champions aren't the best while NGK is more familiar with bikes. Wait until you put in an NGK iridium plug. Zoom.

The clearances on a Chinese 50cc are .00198 inch. That's why they tighten up so fast. I set mine to .003 inch so I could get more mileage until the next one.

The Lance Milan is/was a great scoot. There was a guy in San Francisco with one who did 24,000 miles on one in a year and a half.

Cool. 7000 miles on a 150. I love to see that. Ask all the high price scooter crowd and they'll claim that these scooters die after 1200 miles or a year and a half. Whichever comes first.

You guys are laughing. I was a substitute teacher for awhile and did 8th grade one day. Question 1-If a jogger runs 1750 meters in 10 minutes, how far did he run in one minute? They needed a calculator to figure that one out.
Question 2-If you drive 120 miles in two hours how fast are you driving? Some of the kids couldn't figure that one out.
Don't get me started on video games, computers and too much time texting. There's a reason so many people can't get their scooter started because the kill switch is turned to "Off".

I forget whether it's a CT-70 or ST-70 but the name they hung on it is either Cub or Passport. Take your pick. SYM Symba or Flyscooter Scout were copies.

The Rich don't pay sales taxes. They form "Foundations" or "Not for Profits" and get it all back if they pay it at all. That's why they're Rich. All taxes are a joke to them. Remember Leona Helmesley, "Only the little people pay taxes."

From what I heard Znen took over distribution of their scooters after the demise of Flyscooter and Znendirect.com. They named the company Puma and all the scooters they sell are Znen built, even the 250 Apollo which Fly sold for about a year under a name my foggy old brain forgets.

I'm sorry you guys have such issues with online dealers. I bought from GS Motorworks and any parts I needed during the warranty period, and I bought the 1 year warranty, were supplied within a week free of charge. I've heard people bad mouth Green Earth Scooters but any time I called them, especially when Trent was there, they were courteous, polite and always answered the phone and I personally was involved with helping someone get a new engine out of them free, even though the scooter was possibly abused.

I was going to say something stronger than Crud, but I figured everyone would get my intention. I figured I'd post this around so if anyone was at a Rally and this joker continued his game they'd shut him down. This kind of thing is too miserable for words. Bad enough what some charities pull off for "Administrative Fees", outright thievery is just intolerable.

Boric Acid be darned! What gets me going and got me banned once is people who beat up Chinese scooters and call them junk. I find it odd that people who know a speed handle from a Philip's head are piling up big miles on Chinese scooters while "What does this button do?" types can't get around the block on them. It isn't like the mechanical types are working on them all the time. They just seem to know what the limitations of their CCS are and work with them. The less than knowledgeable types need the backing of expensive dealers who do pricey PDIs for them and fix the inevitable issues the owners cause by pushing the wrong button.
Is my CCS a Honda? No. But it seems to have racked up nearly 6,200 miles by my riding it like a $1000 scooter instead of me flogging it like it I would a $4200 CBR 250.
I guess what I'm saying is you can't compare a $7000 Burgman to a $1600 Bali anymore than you can compare a Kia Rio to a BMW 320i.

After owning bikes for almost 50 years I finally had to work on a carb when I bought the 1981 Yamaha. It was left to sit for over five years, maybe longer, and the inside was coated with barnacles from gas evaporating. After cleaning the jets, float hinge and scraping out the bowl it fired right up. The diaphragm works fine and throttle response is as good as new. Try leaving a fuel injection system like that and see how long it takes to get it running again.
