if you all 'member Chrissy's magneto probs. right ? ok when i started trouble shooting i put a new plug in, problem was she was my only transport so i just walked to the carquest down the street well of course they didnt have NGK so i got a champion.
well today i changed oil, gear oil, and plug used a NGk this time
Member she was backfiring ?
no more backfiring, i tried all day to get her to and NOPE
can a simple plug have fixed that ?

Yes. Standard plugs haven't changed in a dog's age. A slight defect in the insulator could have the plug firing somewhere else besides electrode to ground strap. Champions aren't the best while NGK is more familiar with bikes. Wait until you put in an NGK iridium plug. Zoom.

In 1968 I was riding a 2 stroke street bike. The correct champion plug would last maybe a week or 2. a NkG would last 6 months. I doubt if things have changed that much with plugs since.

I have had issues with Champions in the past on Scooters and Motorcycles. Have switched to NGK.
