I bought mine from Advance Auto. The one in the Bashan is three years old, been through three winters and I don't even put a charger on it and, so far, it works just fine. It's a maintenance free and it just keeps going and going after almost 6,000 miles.

powered by a high-efficiency, 700cc parallel-Twin, driving through either a second-generation Dual Clutch Transmission or a six-speed conventional transmission.
You can choose your poison like the VFR 1200 which comes with either a manual or automatic. To shift or not to shift, that is the question.
I just gave it a good close look and I have bigger questions. Where does the rider put his feet? I looks like it has a floorboard. If that's the case where does the rear brake pedal go for the shifty version? Up through the floorboard like a Helix or Stella? What does the other side look like? Where do you put the shift lever on a bike with no footpegs?

All very valuable opinions but let me toss in my two cents. If you want to travel any distance and need to use the interstates a motorcycle is the way to go. I've become a Craigslist hound and the variety of bikes available for less than an online 150cc China scoot is astounding. I just bought this for $225 and got it running with nothing more than an oil change and a carburetor cleaning. As far as what a 250 bike will do, my wife took her 250 Rebel on a 210 mile trip last summer with only mild discomfort. She never rode that far in one sitting and experienced the same aches all people do after their first long ride. I own a 250 scooter and yes, it's great on nice state roads and local highways, but a bike has better speed, and stability from its bigger wheels. This is important when an 18 wheeler blows by about 20 mph faster than you're going.

I just had that happen on a minivan. It bubbled and wore through the cord. My tires had about 30,000 miles at the time.

There's nothing wrong in the exhaust pipe is there? No dents or clogs? I've lost top end when the pipe was clogged.

Philr just got a engine from them. Hunt him down and see what he thinks so far.

Then tell your dealer that the Kymco Super 8, Super 9 and Agility are built in Kymco's China plant to keep costs down.

I would take a volt/ohmmeter to it when you get it running and see if you're getting 13+ volts across the battery too. It's probably a dead battery but check the charging system too.
