I have a 2008 MC54B Roketa (257 cc)and have over 11,000 miles and have adjusted the valves only once. I set them on .004 intake and .006 exhaust. The reason for the early adjustment is that the valves where not set properly from the Chinese factory. The Intake is close, but the exhaust is too tight, no clearance, so the engine heats up and the exhaust valve will not close. The idle goes away and it will not start from lack of compression, to pull a vaccum on the fuel pump. The engine is just an air pump, no compression no vaccum.

Thanks for the praise...I removed the cover and cut it apart and marked the pieces, to show where to sew them back together. It has several pieces that have to be cut out and sewn together. I used a staple gun to install the cover. I used Dacron thread not cotton, which last longer than cotton. I did not add any material for a firmer seat, the factory stuff was perfect. Yes, I had to use a sewing machine. Any upholstery shop can cover the seat for you, I have a commercial sewing machine that I have had for 40 yrs. Your wifes sewing machine can sew the material used for this seat. Give it a try, you can not hurt the seat. You will gain a new skill and the praise of your friends.

Just two batteries in 6 yrs not too bad. Original and then one from Walmart....funny thing... Walmart does not manufacture the battery, they just sell it....

You can not change the bulbs by pulling the clear lens. Like JR said, the front nose piece has to be removed. If you have a Roketa type scoot...MC 54B 257 cc....You have to remove the bulbs from the rear of the nose piece. I installed H4....9003...Bi-Xenon....Hi/Lo 35 watt....5000K HID's. Had to remove the front nose piece....
