I've not yet replaced mine with anything better than the OEM 9Ah equivalent when I got stuck on the road one time. But BatteriesPlus, or whatever they call themselves nowadays, sells various batteries up into the 14Ah range, and with warranties up to two years. So my take would be, look at both Ah and warranty and buy the best you can afford if you have to replace your battery anyway.

Have seen a lot of people here bad-mouth Walmart's batteries, but no personal experience. The Letterology would suggest that both your old and your new are 9Ah. Question, of course, is for how long. No idea how you could check for that.

Batteries are a shot in the dark, they can last for years or die within months. The important thing is to get a battery the right size for your scoot BUT more importantly is to get one that is rated as having WELL OVER 100 CCAs(COLD CRANKING AMPS). One with CCAs rated below 100 you will have only 1 or 2 shots on the start button before the battery is depleted. Most of your cheap batteries have rating of 60+ CCAs way below 100 CCAs, that is why they are so cheap by the way you get what you pay for it. Alleyoop

Good info. Had not paid all that much attention to CCA, but makes total sense.

power sourse $55.00 on ebay 11ah a bit more power then the stock one,i hear a lot of guys going with 14ah ,like alleyoop said its crap shoot ,,if I move to 14ah I will just go with a cheap one an hope its good ,then if it not most have one year warranty,i just don't see spending 100.00 for a scooter battery thats more then the ones in my car,the walmart batterys you just have to check the date on them ,I have not had battery that failed in years one cheapo that showed up not working right,i got full refund though ,yes cca the more the better I think ,120 to 220 a good one will put out ,batterys can not sit in scooter for months without unhooking + cable same with cars then they should get slow charge, some guys they leave there batterys in there bikes all winter don't run them ,then wonder why they got dead battery ,they put fast charge on it couse they want to ride now ,an that makes the acid boil ,that also drain the life out of the battery ,it all about takeing care of it like anything elce an it will last

.batterystuff.com/batteries/scooter/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.batterystuff.com/batteries/scooter/This site has a slew of batteries, and I see some up to 14Ah and CCA in the 200+ range. Thing is, it has to fit in your battery compartment, but they all give dimensions, so measure yours and go from there. Some of the higher Ah/CCA are not even all that expensive, was expecting $100+ but not necessarily the case. That being said, I know zip about the warranty or the reliability of this particular company, so don't sue me.

There are only a couple of companies here in the U.S.A that manufactuer batteries and they build them to the companies specifications then they just slap on the name the company wants on it. Just about all the other batteries you see out there with all kinds of names are made in CHINA. Even some U.S companies that sell batteries have them made in china. Alleyoop

Wow -- for MY scooter, 2011 Roketa, this battery would fit with room to spare, and it looks like it could probably run everything without me ever starting the engine! Just joking, but if I had the bux I'd consider one of these. So my message is, shop. Look at price, Ah, CCA, and of course size. Of course, this baby is from China, if it doesn't perform whom do you sue? .batterystuff.com/powersports-batteries/LFX18A1-BS12.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.batterystuff.com/powersports-batteries/LFX18A1-BS12.html
