Separate the switch and look inside. The screw that holds the lever will back out and make the switch useless. It is a problem that can be fixed. A new switch is a large expense and you probably don't need it. Like JR has said....the harness is crossed. Check the plug in connectors.

Have you adjusted the valves... .004 intake and .006 exhaust.... this will cure all kinds of problems....enjoy the ride...

I would use a quality puddy knife and a small ball peen hammer. Just be careful with the parting surfaces. Life is Good..

Yes, the valves need to be adjusted. The reason they are off is the initial adjustment was done incorrectly. |
