cant get it to run over idle,as soon as i give it throttle just bogs down and dies ,replaced all vacuum lines, fuel filters,took carb checked jets ,fuel pump is working good , ?

When was the last time it was running good and what happened to cause this all of a sudden?
It sounds like the PILOT jet is clogged and or ITS passage. Check by turning the Fuel Air Ratio screw in clockwise and or counter clockwise and see if it effects the IDLE up or down.

idk when it was runnig good i got for free beening trying to make it run i finally got it to start after replacing the lines ,i already took the carb off and cleaned it good even the jets with compressd air , i just checked the spark plug looks fouled out

Have you adjusted the valves... .004 intake and .006 exhaust.... this will cure all kinds of problems....enjoy the ride...

Saw that you said this scooter had been treated poorly in your welcome thread and you asked about vacuum lines? This is the a thread on the 250B and you'll see pictures of the vacuum lines on this thread, should all work the same.

thks jr ,im giving it all the tlc i can to bring it back to life ,it needs lots of work ,so far she will start and idle ,but thats all as soon as yu give it gas it dies ,i already replaced both fuel filters,all the vacuum lines/fuel lines ,spark plug ,fuel, took the carb went thru it ,jets,poilt jet float and seat ,acts like its not getting gas ,tomorrow i will check vavles ,timing marks ,and take off carb go thru it again with b12 carb cleaner ,

Be sure to check the diaphragm and the tiny holes in the main jet to see if they are all open and clean.

The Spark Fouled HOW, SOOTY and black or OILY? If sooty it is running to rich to much fuel that can be fixed by leaning out the Fuel Ratio Mixture, if Oily then not such good news. Check your Air Filter it may be clogged and restricting the amount of air and that will cause a Rich condition.

i checked the timing marks ,checked /adjusted valves ,took carb off went completely thru it with compressd air ,plunger diagram needle wasnt hooked up to the plunger

wont even idle now aleast it idled with needle not hookup to the plunger?does the gas suppose to even flow out from the regulator or squirt little spots of fuel ???i know it runs on vacuum i replaced every line , this vog has me puzzled ,

I left the link with the pictures out on my last reply, sorry about that. I would check the lines out to see if they are correct, if so then you may need to consider a new carb?

i went thru the carb again ,gas pump jet was pluged up aka accl pump ,it has jet, spring and small bearing,i didnt know how to set the jet so i messed with it , it idles twist throttle and vroooom! no bog at all ,just fine tune it ,joy ride time ,there list of stuff that still needs help on it ,i need gage console ,body platics ,so for ,

I have one I have never been able to get running right. I am at my last wits with it. Last thing I found is there is something going on with the wiring and draining the battery on me besides the not running right. So my last thing to do it completely strip all plastic off and go through all the wiring on it. That is a project for NEXT summer for me.
