A few days ago I had my plastics off to do a PDI. At the same time I changed my headlamp bulbs from the original dull ones to 50/55 HID's, and they work great! They fit right into the original sockets. So now I can drive at night with confidence.
The only problem is, now my turn indicators and emergency flasher don't work. The turn indicator lamps work ok with the alarm system, but not with the turn switch or the flasher switch. I replaced the flasher and, after waiting a couple of seconds, they worked for a few flashes, and then stopped. I never installed an HID kit... just changed the headlamps themselves. Does anybody have a clue as to what might be happening?! I have a 2008 yy250t 244cc. I love it!

Well, the turn/flasher circuit has its own, dedicated fuse in the fusebox if your scoot has a fusebox like mine does, I'd certainly inspect both that fuse AND that slot in the fusebox (on the OEM fusebox the connections are prone to slipping down out of position). But it's odd that you say they worked for a few blinks when you replaced the flasher. If the fuse thing checks okay, my second suspicion would be the flasher socket or its connections.

Thanks, ellpee. The fuses and puse box seemed to check out ok. I'll double check the connections this afternoon. Am I missing something else I'm supposed to do when I switch to Xenon HID bulbs? Do I need a kit in this situation?

Do I need a kit in this situation? Hey quick question, did you just install xenon bulbs without a projector just direct on reflector or did you also buy a projector? Also a while ago I installed halogen bulbs that used to much wattage and made my blinkers fail either they dimmed or only working when halogens where turned off even tough I was using LED blinkers.
