a fuse is a must trust me I know from experience :S I ran without a fuse for 1 minutes as a result I burned the positive cable from the harness which made my key switch fail also sometimes the connectors form the key switch start to wiggle out with even slight vibrations and get disconnected

Thanks, ellpee. The fuses and puse box seemed to check out ok. I'll double check the connections this afternoon. Am I missing something else I'm supposed to do when I switch to Xenon HID bulbs? Do I need a kit in this situation? Hey quick question, did you just install xenon bulbs without a projector just direct on reflector or did you also buy a projector? Also a while ago I installed halogen bulbs that used to much wattage and made my blinkers fail either they dimmed or only working when halogens where turned off even tough I was using LED blinkers.

Do I need a projector to install HID lights? Can I possibly install the bulb and use a glass from a magnifier which is round and put it infront of the bulb or is using a projector mandated by law? I'm in Texas.

Well engine is a CG250 Pushrod Air Cooled 5 speed manual with a 229cc displacement and chain drive there isn't any adjusters on the outside so I will need to check valves by removing the cover in an angle somehow if not then remove my entire engine also its a motorcycle. What valve gap is reccomended for this engine? I dont have a manual or anything

OK Listen carefully and you can hear a ticking or clicking when engine is running, do my valves need to be asjusted or is this normal? Sounds keeps geeting a little louder every weekwhen its being rided.

I was checking my headlights wires and again and found out one of the sockets was shorting out as soon as the light bulb got warm so I might have to put something in there to stop the shorting I was revving the engine at 3k rpm and lights didn't seem to dim after I charged the battery but if I rev for a few seconds the socket shorts and my headlights turn off :S

Scot it might look like a clone but only difference is only 5 gears and a 229cc engine and a single cylinder

well ellpee the only wired that got burned was the positive cable for the harness but only where the key switch connects while the other cables did not get burned. the other 3 wires are colored red, green, and black. I pretty much familiar with my motorcycle as I have been repairing it from bare frame I'm pretty good on disassembling and assembling anything that needs to be fixed just not much of an electrical person but I can still hold my own.

Have you looked at the wiring diagram of this scooter in the tech section? If not get it and we'll go through it and get them going again. JR I have tried looking for the wiring diagrams and haven't found anything for this motorcycle even finding parts is hard so I just go with the flow and what seems to be right.

Yes Scot I fixed up my harness as I could not find a replacement harness so I replaced harness wires using wires from the harness My headlights are not really important as I mostly ride on daylight but fixing my headlights would be a nice win
