Hi Guys, another problem. Went to start my scoot today and would not start, notice my brake switch was soaked with brake fluid, found out my sight glass or plastic is leaking, I remember someone having this problem and they replaced the sight glass, hopefully we still have this info. I don't know if you can repair this?

Thanks racer & Alleyoop, I'll try the JB weld first, remove brake fluid and dry the outside and use the JB Weld.

Surely there must be something one could use to seal around the edges of the glass ... FormAGasket, maybe? I know brake fluid is somewhat destructive to some surfaces, but if anything would stand up under that, a gasket sealer ought to do the trick. At least that way you would still have a SIGHT glass ....

Hi ellpee, the trouble its leaking right dead center on the sight glass or I think it plastic because I can push in the middle where there is a crack and brake fluid comes out

Got sight glass out, clean well and sacrificed a pair of safety glasses for the thick plastic, cut shaped into a circle and glued where the old sight glass was. hoping it won't leak and if it does I still have the option of JB Weld
