It could be your variator weights that are rattling. Get your video by the CVT by the Variator or get a funnel and put it by the Variator and your ear on the funnel to pinpoint the clicking. Do the same on the Head of the motor by the valve cover and see if the clicking is coming from inside the valve cover. Reason I say it may be the Variator weights is because Valves get TIGHT not loose. That looks like a 244cc HELIX motor which has the Valve adjustments on the outside which makes them very easy to adjust you do not have to take anything off. Now it may that the bolts holding the adjusters are loose and the adjusters moved which would move to the LOOSE SIDE not the tight side. Take a Pic or a Video of the motor Valve adjusters on the right side like in this Video that shows how to adjust them. Alleyoop

Well engine is a CG250 Pushrod Air Cooled 5 speed manual with a 229cc displacement and chain drive there isn't any adjusters on the outside so I will need to check valves by removing the cover in an angle somehow if not then remove my entire engine also its a motorcycle. What valve gap is reccomended for this engine? I dont have a manual or anything

Or--its a valve done got loose--sounds just like my 250 B did before I adjusted it--usually the valves get too tight and need adjusting but if the tech or you don't get the engine in perfect alignment with the timing marks, then the adjustment can be too tight or too loose--and be sure to tighten the lock nut on the valve adjuster--its probably the intake valve, since it stays cooler than the exhaust valve and might get out of adjustment--IMO--happy trails, fflintstone

Alleyoop this is how the valves are adjusted on my 244cc jonway Alleyoop top on motor that does look easy an don't have to take off cover yes ?
