the harnes from the engine to the regulator , on the stator side how many wires are there and what color are they ? If i'am looking at the correct diagram it looks like a dc cdi , with your charging out that is why it stalls out .
charge your battery Your going to have to keep it running for some trouble shooting . There is going to be a plug between the stator and regulator on the stator side it will have 3 yellow and a green , you need to find that plug . then come back and let ue know . have your meter ready to go as well .
Loacte your starter solinoid and check the 20A fuse . Look under your seat and check the fuses in the fuse box .

Yes , Just you are correct , Dennis and I had a conversation about this . At the time I sent you yours I was not aware of it I discovered it after . On the plus side of it it is working , I'm working on getting some answers and figuring out a better way to check them . What I explained to Dennis is that I'm unsure of the magnets in the flywheel , However I'm sure it works .
What my plan is , is to get iron filings put paper over the flywheel then sprinkle the filings over the paper , so I can see the magnetic field to get a better count . I ran a piece of ferrious around the flywheel and counted I did it a few times and got different numbers . Feeling and counting and seeing and counting are different . I'm looking for iron fillings I don't know where to get them .

Dennis , I'm waiting to see what you get with the black wire off and reved up , and with the black wire grounded reved up . I checked the flywheel I'm not getting 11 , I'm going to try to get the iron filings . I will have to ask around .

It seems as cdi's have the extra plastic on the plugs for extra harness plugs. John

when the regulator is pluged in the ac voltage gets loaded down by the regulator . Like I said the black wire off the regulator disconnect it from the switched power and ground it the charging voltage should go up , just be carefull don't do it for long just enough to get a reading ." Recheck yellow to yellow voltage reved up like 4 or 5 thousand rpm and hold it , it will creap up , you should get 40- 60 vac . " 40 to 60 vac is very very important !!!!

ohms 1.3-1.5 yellow to green about 15vac yellow to yellow 20-25vac yellow to yellow reved up 40-60vac all readings taken with stator unpluged 3 yellows and green , everything else was pluged in . It looks to me based on the readings you made versus mine your stator is defective . I have the stator ready to ship I would have a regulator on handif I were you PM me for a price . I also have many other items for sale . thescooterprofessor.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=specials&action=display&thread=800John With the stator plugged in the ac readings are simmular to yours I didn't write them down . You should get 40-60vac reved up unpluged . John

Started with 6 or 8 poll stator ,now 11poll stator with original magneto/flywheel. Where I get parts they list 6 8 11 magnet flywheel/magneto with 3 different part numbers . John

I was rooting for the black wire to be a feedback in that set up . Sorry to hear it did not work do you have a meter ? John

do the 11 pole 7pin mod , you have some strange set up there . I belive in doing what I know works . or use the old regulator and put a six pole stator back in . With the others around here you may have someone familur with 8pole 5pin set up . I have six pole stators .
