Here is a pic of what your carb most likely looks like it is a 24mm carb which the 150s come with I have one on mine as well. See the FUEL MIXTURE screw turn that CLOCKWISE until it stops and COUNT the number of turns it took to stop. Then turn it out 2 1/2 turns and see if it attempts to start. Alleyoop

One other thing if you guys messed with the Fuel ratio mixture screw on the carb on the LEFT side. You can turn it clockwise until it stops then turn it back out 2 1/2 turns that is enough for any motor to start and run. It may even run pretty descent at that setting but if not once it does start you can always fine tune the mixture. Alleyoop

Make sure there are no VACUUM lines open otherwise not enough suction will go to the fuel pump. Also how did you test the fuel pump? to test how it is pumping fuel to the carb you take the fuel hose off the carb and put it in a cup or container and crank the motor over. Fuel should stream out and not dribble out. Also check your fuel filter it may be clogged. Can you take some pictures of the carb area and hoses, pics are worth a thousand words and there maybe something that we can spot. Alleyoop

Make sure there are no vacuum lines coming from the INTAKE MANIFOLD open and or check the vacuum line going to the Fuel Pump make sure it is not cracked or split or leaking. By the way how did you check the fuel pump. Way to check to see if it is pumping good is take the fuel hose off the carb and put it in a cup or container and crank the motor over. It should pump out a good amount of fuel also make sure your fuel filter is not he problem and is not clogged.
Take some pictures of the carb area and the hoses, pictures are worth a thousand words. Alleyoop

Yes it does turn by hand. I took the starter off to bench test starter is good. Check the ground(good). Vavle adjustent is outside. I know the valve adjustments are on the outside I want to see where you have them set. Take a picture of them ALSO take a picture of your Solenod. Are you sure you have the Solenoid wired correctly? alleyoop

Have you adjusted the valves on it BOTH to .004 inchs. Sounds like tight valves and it overheated. Alleyoop

Since this is a 244cc HELIX the valve adjustments are on the outside can you take a picture of the valve adjusters?
Also let me ask this can you turn the motor over by HAND with a wrench on the VARIATOR, turning it COUNTER CLOCKWISE through the compression stroke and the intake strok in other words several turns of the variator? Alleyoop

Does it look something like this: Put up a picture of it Not to many have a CF Moto Trike. Does it have the VOyager Trike kit or TOW-PAC or which trike kit does it have. And yes the pads are most likely glazed and slipping not grabbing the bell, very common on heavy scoots if you baby then starting off. You can not miss the look of glazed pads they will be smooth and shiny, then just get a piece of sandpaper any will do and just lightly sand away the glaze. Alleyoop
