I had the same experience and it was my igintion coil, check something first, sometimes it will happen if your clamps holding carb are loose, intake and back to your air box and (that happened to me the other day, act just like I wasn't getting gas to carb, got checking, it was those clamps, tighten them good to go) of course check those vacuum lines too

Like that old saying, (cheer up, things could be worse, so I cheered up and they got worse!) just kidding I've had my many ups & downs with my scoot, but I deal with it and keep on moving

Let me tell you what happened to me the other day, my scoot was having starting issues I know your going to say (time to adjust the valves) already did that stop got gas, and I crank, and crank, and crank and it would not start, after some time it did start. what could it be??? It was doing this off and on all week, so I decided to check out, (thinking maybe I had a weak spark, I first noticed that my spark plug cap seemed loose, so poped it off and looked inside, (sure enough the little wire in my ignition coil was pushed aside not making connect, and my wire going inside the cap was also loose, likely I saved the old cap, switch it, now were good to go again. (Sometimes we over look the simplest things). Just a thought

I just took my clutch and variator off Friday, use the impack wrench, it is so easy. Worth the money, the last time I tryed to take variator about 6 months ago, I too broke a fin off.
