Blown fuse

I started up the Linhai 260, hit the gas and it immediately died. I found that the fuse at the battery had blown. Since this is the first time this has happened, with only 400 miles on the engine, I was curious about the cause. Perhaps it's no big deal, otherwise it wouldn't have come with a spare. Any thoughts?

Several. Was this the original OEM fues? If so then Chinese fuses can go at anytime.
The fuse holder, they are notorious for not connecting well with the fuse and it could have heated up and the result was a blown fuse.
Something in the system overloaded and of course if it does the fuse is the thing that is supposed to blow. If this is the case it'll probably happen again?

What does that fuse control? I have no power to my mp3 player.
