Well i know why it was leaking so bad. I broke one of the mounting arms so it wasn't seating correctly. but prior to that had slow leak so they question still stands should there be an O-ring and/or gasket between the pump and the motor?
Thanks all for your help.

Hi Guys,
I have an issue with my Roketa 250C Linhai leaking oil around water pump. On the motor there is a little pin hole that seeps oil i assume to lube the water pump. it seems that the water pump is possibly not seated correctly OR there should be a gasket/seal that should be there.
Has anyone else run into this problem and if so how can i go about fixing this?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Its not your thermostat. its the burping process that you need to go through and there is no rushing it. Search this site for "burping" adn you will find it. i have gone through this 2x. here is what i remember from the process. 1) on a cold motor fill. 2) disconnect the water line that goes to the thermostat 3) run the ingine 4) watch the moter begin to drink and refill 5) once it begins to warm the water will begin to spew from the thermostat hosing. wait till its close to a steam then reconnect it. 6) you could go for a little ride around the block to help with any air pockets. 7) park it and let it cool BONE COLD (like over night) ***this is important *** 8) top it off and run it for a little while remember to top it off. it may begin to back up into the overflow bottle. this is OK. it may take a few times to repeat step 7 forward but it will begin to cool.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Richardthescooter3,
im glad i didnt have to pull it off. The original lever didnt fit the aftermarket Master-Cylinder well enough. i picked up some quicksteel and epoxy'd it to the inside of the lever. just waiting for it to harden and i should be fine.
Thanks again!

I figured it out. its the switch on the master-cylinder. the lever wont swing back far enough to depress the switch to turn the break lights off. i guess i need to use some JBWeld ans stick a washer on the back of the lever. doesnt seem to have an adjustment on the switch. Thanks guys! with as many issues i have had over the past year i vote to make me a preofessor too!! again thanks for all the help on here.

Sounds like the belt maybe slipping. whenever i have to open the CVT i like to take the sandpaper and rough up the inside if the fan and the variator just to make sure there is no glazing. when i replace the clutch i did the same thing. hope this helps!!

Thanks Alleyoop! I pulled the wheel off and cleaned the spindle, spacer and bearing and lubed everything with lithium grease. I put it back together and still have the wiggle in the wheel. I assume the nut draws the swing-arm onto the spacer so I'm thinking about adding 1 or 2 washers between the nut and the swing arm OR between the spacer and the swing-arm to make up for the difference. Do yall think if I do either of these things it will knock the bike out of alignment?
Again thank you all for pitching in and helping out.

I still have the issue where the rear tire has a lot of play about .25". im trying to pull the swing arrm off to see if anything came loose.

Thanks guys, i didnt find the nut in the two urls above. i wanted to see if i could find the part at a local autopart store v. having to order it. i think its a 14MM but im not sure about pitch adn what else goes out there. do we have a washer there as well? Yes as i have had to remove items i have been adding blue and sometimes red loctite.

yeah is does!
i put it back together but instead of using the standard washer i replaced it with a lockwasher. i hope it holds as my nephew uses it to go to work. there is a local chinese scooter parts shop here in Houston so ill be making that drive this weekend and picking up a fan.
Thanks for hanging in there with me. you guys are a great resource.
Rgrds, Robert
