Can you help me out on where to look next?

Follow the wires down it probably came unplugged down lower from the main plug or connectors when you where taking stuff off and or putting things back. I am sure putting that on the brake cable pulled on some wires. Alleyoop

Here is that wire that goes from the left brake switch through the steering column, I just replaced my left box switch, had mine um-pluged for about a month, but my right brake light worked and when pressing brake both lights came on, I think it must be something else, Attachments:

I figured it out. its the switch on the master-cylinder. the lever wont swing back far enough to depress the switch to turn the break lights off. i guess i need to use some JBWeld ans stick a washer on the back of the lever. doesnt seem to have an adjustment on the switch. Thanks guys! with as many issues i have had over the past year i vote to make me a preofessor too!! again thanks for all the help on here.

There is a notch on the upper side of the brake switch that goes into a hole for adjustment, (you can see on top) it might of came loose enough to come out. You will know when its in place. Attachments:

Thanks Richardthescooter3,
im glad i didnt have to pull it off. The original lever didnt fit the aftermarket Master-Cylinder well enough. i picked up some quicksteel and epoxy'd it to the inside of the lever. just waiting for it to harden and i should be fine.
Thanks again!
