I have seen what ethanol can do to a scooters carb as well as my motor home's generator. I use StaBil in all my scoots fuel and in my CRV. Around here we cant get ethanol free gas easily. I dont have a horse in this race, just saying.

Elpee, use RapidRepair.com and it will take you to Jim's website which shows his shop and scoots out in front. Address is 96 E. Main St., Miltown, Wi. Established 1993. You can also click on his name on any heading for postings he has made and get the same info. I have an IceBear, 2009 model that looks like a Ruckus trike. I use it for running around my property and to the mail box. Just so you will know that I am not shilling for Jim, I would never buy another IckyBear(pet name for mine) but have found Jim, in my opinion, to be honest in his advise and have never heard a complaint concerning his business ethics. He always seems to be ready to give free advise to anyone having problems with the IB product line whether they bought from him or not. Which is more than I can say for Extreme Scooters as you have learned. Again, (*

I have heard this before concerning this dealer. (* aptly describes your situation. If I were buying an Ice Bear product Rapid Jim would be my go to guy.

I have a Kubota 23/50 tractor with a belly mower attached. It is a small diesel unit but does a good job of it. I buy 10 gallons of diesel at a time, not cheap here a tad more than super unleaded. All in all I mow about 4.5 acres and if I am dumb enough to mow all day I can do it all in about 5 hours. Myt back meadow is known as the deer field and we have does and fawns there in the summer, fun to watch.

fflintstone, like you say, the weather has pretty much shot down the summer riding season here too. When I get a dry day I spend it mowing my large yard!!! Scooterran, I can remember when gas was 25 cents a gallon back in the 50's. And I can remember when it went to .75 a gallon in the early 70's. I put an extra 20 gallon saddle tank on my pick up truck in case so that I could make long trips showing my dogs. Now at $3.65 a gallon I dont do a lot of travelling and use my scoots as much as possible.

Temps here have been lower than usual from April on. Today was 68-83. Major flooding in the county next to us as a result of 3" of rain last night. Sure has been an odd Spring and Summer.

Just did an accurate milage test on my Buddy 170i and found that I am getting 99 mpg. Scoot has just turned 525 miles(too much rain in GA to do a lot of riding this summer). I average 52 mph by my GPS. I keep my fuel stored at home, treated with Stabil, and measure it by the gallon when filling. ;D

Well, I don't have a dog in this fight but I do find the footnote " The following scooterists" to be offensive and such personal attacks have no place on this forum in my humble opinion. JR, . :#
