While I admit to being a fan of Taiwanese scooters I have to admit that Ice Bear has improved their line over the past five years. My riding pal has a small scoot business and the Ice Bear scooters he has been bring in show a great improvement in quality. Cant say any thing about the trike as he does not sell them. But it would seem logical that if the scoots have improved the trikes will have also. It has always been my contention that the Chinese can improve the product if there is a demand for better quality in that product. Does any body remember when the first Japanese cars were imported and every one considered them to be sub par?? Today quality wise and design wise they dominate the American market. declare

I have owned 2 Tomos bikes in the past. Great machines but seem to have declined in popularity in recent years.

Follow up to my last post. Come on the forum today only to see that I was now a guest for the second time. Had to log one all over again. Is the new set up not user friendly? Or am I missing something?

The trikes look like Ice Bears. Personally I would not touch one of these 'deals' with a 10' pole. :# :# :#

I filled up my 170i today, it is finally getting broken in, fill up @ 52 miles=1/2 gallon. Do the math! I fill up at home and carefully measure the amount of gas used ;-X. o))

Chevron is my choice . The wife uses BP. Alley, at those Chi Town prices I can see why you ride a scoot as much as possible. I just got 10 gallons of diesel for my Kubota tractor, $3.90 a gallon. Paying $3.54 a gallon for regular. Now that the monsoon season is over I will be riding the 170i a lot more. Here in NGA a lot of the brands are hitting $4.00 a gal. for hi test. o))

Just noticed yesterday that a Shell station in a nearby bedroom community is getting $4.14 a gallon for high test. o)). Again, I have no horse in this race. Now you boys play nice, ya hear?? (8)
