Tempting--but something is fishy--250 engine is air cooled--and I read specs on the Chief and the Montana and it mentions a step through floorboard..maybe that is their way of advertising ,duplicating specs for a variety of bikes--don't know,I don't like the setup--and the long wait --over 2 months for delivery--I would like to try one but afraid I would be disapointed...and with my Alsheimers ,I would forget what I ordered--still..interested--would like a 3 wheeler--sigh--fflintstone

The trikes look like Ice Bears. Personally I would not touch one of these 'deals' with a 10' pole. :# :# :#

I was thinking the same thing on the trike and I don't care if there is no warranty or not, if it came all in one piece, papers were legit and ran fine after the PDI I would be very happy! ^)

scooterdoc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talk&action=display&thread=8494Credit card Jack, really? You would give your credit card number and security code to an offshore scam operation like this? I wouldn't use Pay Pal either. These guys could be pro hackers and my Pay Pal account is tied into my checking account. If I was going to test this with spare cash lying around I'd use a bank check. You're not very smart sometimes KZ. What I meant was I would have Pay Pal take their money from a credit card. In case you don't know how Pay Pal works they pay the seller direct from their system and funds and then get their money from whatever way "you" choose to pay them. When you sign up for a Pay Pal account you can choose any account which includes directly from your bank account or any amount of credit cards you want to use. When you purchase something using Pay Pal and login they ask you how you want to pay and you can choose anything you have listed. If you got good credit you can even choose their same as cash "Buy now and Bill me later" payment plan. I've used this several times this past Christmas, even bought my grandkids their go kart on this payment plan, paid for it in 4 months and I had 6 to do so and it was interest free. If you used this system and got the shaft then just file a dispute with Pay pal and not make the payments until it's resolved, by law if you file a dispute they can't collect until the dispute is resolved or even make you pay late fees or interest. So if you used Pay Pal to pay for this scooter in question you could use a credit card that you know will back you up in case the transaction goes sour and if Pay Pal doesn't back you up then file a claim with your credit card company and then Pay Pal is left holding the bag. Don't say this won't work because it will, know a member here that has a scooter and the claim with his credit card is over two years old and he's riding the scooter all this time and hasn't been out a dime. And yes even if your Pay Pal is tied to your checking account which you don't have to do with Pay Pal, they require two forms of payment and will take two credit cards as long as they check out you can still file a dispute with your bank and leave Pay Pal in the cold. If you didn't receive what you paid for by law your bank must refund your money and go after the people who took it. Think KZ think, BANK CHECK ? .mmmcoming.com/payment-ezp-2?chapter=10" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.mmmcoming.com/payment-ezp-2?chapter=10 Pay Pal and Western Union is the only thing they take according to their TOS so you need to back up the Pay pal thing because we all know that Pay Pal doesn't always take care of the customer, this is what I was talking about. Also Pay Pal doesn't instantly take funds from your checking account, again they pay the seller from their funds and then they get their money from you. Want to know how I know this? Made a purchase one day and had forgot that I was in the process of closing the account that I had on file with Pay Pal and realized that I didn't have the funds in the account to cover the purchase, immediately called them and yes you can call them even though their main number is hard to find sometimes and told them of my problem. They told me no problem just go to the bank that I was closing the account on and deposit enough to cover the purchase because it would be up to 3 days before they drafted the funds. Promptly did so and put just enough in to cover in, went online to the bank account and all was fine. I don't have a clue as to how Western Union works, haven't used them in years but one could safely buy this with pay pal using a credit card that they know takes care of them in a dispute. I have such a card that I've had for over 30 years and they have always took care of me. I even use this system with Killer and they've never done me wrong but it's just smart to have a back up. BTW KZ don't be afraid to mouth off at someone here especially when you say something that is totally off base and wrong, remember the "never again" quote you made not long ago? I don't recall mentioning your name at all until now on this thread. Old habits are hard to break ain't they? Again sometimes you're not very smart. JR

I'd go over there and discuss it with you but I feel safer here.
Read more: scooterdoc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talk&action=display&thread=8494#ixzz2ejpAeF9CSafer? What a laugh and as far as reading minds if you didn't know what I meant you shouldn't have tried guessing earlier with you dumb question about me using a credit card. Your response was trying to make it look like I didn't know what I was saying and then you was stupid enough to say use a bank check when they clearly stated their payment terms. You didn't even read the terms. Safer, you mean to say that your don't have the gonads to say things like that here but run to another forum that I'm not even a member of. Alley warned you once about badmouthing someone who can't even defend themselves so you just keep up the good work and see what it gets you. As far as you running the Moto on ethanol gas, you sure can if you're not taking four hours to put a drive shaft in like the rookie over there did in an hour? Seems Motos really like new drive shafts? Oh that's right he can do like you and blame it on the previous owners neglect? BTW I love the KZ and Luke thread it's very entertaining to watch you especially when you say "look how I'm kicking so in so's butt in a debate again!" Hilarious! Please keep up the good work we all need a good laugh to end the day! ;D ;D JR

BTW you seem to always just put part of my quote? Here is what I said again so you can be sure to put it all in: BTW I love the KZ and Luke thread it's very entertaining to watch you especially when you say "look how I'm kicking so in so's butt in a debate again!" You also seem to be avoiding the payment thing? Just mentioned you couldn't read my mind? Didn't respond to the BANK CHECK question? Did you finally read the payment TOS? Had you done that and also knew anything about Pay Pal and a credit card you might have kept your mouth shut while you were lurking here? The great debater has no answer? Cat got your tongue? BTW we're not sleepy, just don't do nonsense that you call a lively thread~! Also if we are so sleepy why are you lurking here? I don't read at Doc for any thing called tech help would only read your nonsense no help people unless you call BS articles about scooters you "wish" you could own help or bashing someone's scooter help? I read there for a good laugh every day and you never disappoint! Besides how could anyone be sleepy when they are laughing at you? ;D Lurking? Now that's the pot calling the kettle black isn't it now? Besides you don't have to lurk KZ? You are member here but you're going to have to get over that insecure safe feeling and grow some gonads and man up. Besides what are you afraid of? Surely you're not afraid some here might see you as the real person you are? Oh I get it you're afraid that some might side with Luke here? Surely not? Surely the great high school debater wouldn't be afraid of that? The boogie man isn't here? Afraid you might get the "shaft?" You call that nonsense a debate? Dictionary KZ use the dictionary, can you say babble? Yes KZ 475 people watched and tuned in to the freak show! ;D ;D Why do you think Alley put the thread up to start with? Do you need a hint? For sure it wasn't forum ratings and the 3 forums you mentioned none of us have to put up a nonsense thread like that so we'll just stay sleepy. You always mention Doug and BTW he is doing fine, talked with him on his way home from his folks in Texas the other day. It's part of the we won't last 6 months thing? Go put a nonsense thread like that up at the sleepy forum you called Rebels and see how long it or you lasts? Even jct was smart enough to bow out of that one! JR

I do like the trike and even my wife mentioned that with my legs I might want to consider a trike? But $1300 on a scooter that is really risky even though that is a heck of a price and it's a repo? .mmmcoming.com/faqs-ezp-21" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.mmmcoming.com/faqs-ezp-21This is how they get these scooters. Now that's not illegal, that happens in this country all the time but trusting someone in main land China? Now one of the $280 scooters as a test buy might be acceptable. Tell ya what, go ask KZ if he'll sign up that is if you can talk the company into taking a check? ;D If he won't then holler back at me. JR

No I'm not signing up. I know a scam when I see one. Two websites, $50 for shipping and documentation all the way from China? This site makes ATV Discounters look like the Boy Scouts.

Well I was eyeballing a scooter $400 shipped. I was thinking more like a 4 way gamble. $100 I can Handel for a loss. If I get the goods I pony up the other $300 to the others and then they know its a go. The more for the test the less of a loss.
