As I successfully bought both my bikes from CL, I would seriously consider this one, even at asking price. Here's why, and don't laugh. Look in the background. I see a VERY clean garage. This guy at first glance appears to pay attention to details. Odds are he is as meticulous with his bike. As far as the extras are concerned, there's not many 'extras' on the bike, just the radio. The leather seat is a nice touch. The rest is maintenance items, and I think of it as less I have to do. The helmet and cover would save you about $100, or more, alone if you don't yet have one. I would verify everything he says he's done in person. You could offer less, but around my area, you wouldn't get one close to that cheap. LOL its ok Im not laughing at you just with you. Heck then NO ONE would ever want to even look at one of my scoots My Garage is a MESS. I need a garage that is about 3 times bigger than what I have. LOL :

PS: The seller has added a few extras and that may be why he is asking a grand on the 2008 model. We all know we can add as much as we want to these Chino scoot but that still does not change the fact it is a Chino scoot and does not raise its value. :-(

Thanks for the recommendations, guys. I'm about to pull the trigger on a pair of Shinko SR568R's... Less than $100 for 2 highly reviewed tires seems like an excellent fit for my budget. Anyone have experience with Shinko tires? I'm also curious if anyone has experience with fitting the YY250T with 140/60/13's. It's only a 10mm increase, and I would expect better traction from wider tires... I just need to know that they will fit before I order them. Time to drag out a measuring device and make sure, I guess. I'm off to cut the grass, but if anyone else has any words of wisdom I'd be grateful to hear from them. I won't place an order until later this evening, or possibly tomorrow. Thanks again. I have used them they were OK. Ended up going with Michelins.

I have the Cardo Scala rider series for bike to bike. We started with the Q2 model loved them. Then this last year we upgraded to the G4 series. LOVE LOVE LOVE them. They are full stereo blue tooth which is nice if you are a smart phone user like my self. I have over an hour ride to work one way so I put on I Heart radio and listen to my local radio on the way to work. For the most part they are very clear.
We got them a couple years ago after my dad and I were riding back roads after a storm doing caching and I was about 400 feet ahead of him Went around a corner lots of loose gravel took me by suprise only going about 25 mph but still I was watching in my rear view when My dad hit the patch and he ended up laying down the scooter in the ditch. If we had them then I could have given him more warning and most likely could have avoided the situaiton. We bough them a week later and I feel that they have saved us a number of time with road hazzards since.

Steady progress, bent bar is now straight bar! Some work to do when I replace the stay, there seem to be a number of cables etc threaded through it, plus the stay has a small weld on it to attach it to the frame further to the three screws. tried looking at the forks a bit more today, looks like there's the possibility of only one of the forks being damaged but it shard to tell. Anyone have any experience of removing the forks from a Linhai? I'd appreciate any thoughts. Cheers Not the fork but the triple tree. Taking the triple off is easy getting the races out to replace the bearings that is HARD AS HECK.

I just heard tonight that Monica Lewinsky has decided to start voting Republican as her past with the Democratic party has left a bad taste in her mouth.

Yup that clip is a Bugger. I drilled 2 tiny holes in mine to slide the wire into made it tons easier to put back in.

Monoprice is where I buy all my USB and HDMI cables too. Good quality cables for pennies compared to any stores including Amazon and Newegg.
