Yup that clip is a Bugger. I drilled 2 tiny holes in mine to slide the wire into made it tons easier to put back in.

Yes those clips are a pain. I finally figured it out though. Loosen the screw about half a turn and with a pair of small pliers wiggle the bracket so that it slides up and left to right. Now you can slide one clip in. Now with a skinny flat head push slightly down and in on the side that is already clipped and the other clip will slide right in. Tighten and your done. I can do both bulbs in about 5 to 10 minutes now. I converted to H3s. Very nice and bright.
