Speedometer on these chino are pretty unreliable from what I have found. Not sure how many miles you have on it but part of it sounds like it may need a valve adjustment. Also check air cleaner.. On my YY250T I had a heck of a time keeping the air box on I finally found a Flexable tube solution to get rid of the rigid box that kept coming off. It is important that the air be coming threw the air filter. The box I am talking about is the J shaped piece that connects the main airbox to the Carb. If you run in an area with alot of dust and such you do not want to end up having dirt end up going through the carb it will really mess up the piston. You may just need a quick Idle adjustment the screw is on the side of the carb where the throttle cable connects to carb. a quick 1/4 turn in on that might help.

Ok Well I decided to get away from Scooter and on to Motorcycle. I just bought a 2007 Yamaha V-Start 650. I am selling my oldest my Linhai Then he can take do some riding together and he only lives like 5 miles from where he works so should make a pretty good commuter for him getting back and forth to work. As for me with a 63 mile one way drive to work I wanted something that had a bit more girth to it and hold the road well. I will be putting my Jonway YY250T up for sale very shortly I need to get it out of and dust it off good. With my going with a cycle I also upped my Outerwear also going with Textile Armor that is good for all weather. Was 48 degrees around here today as a Hi and was very comfortable. Shifting itself is no issue at all that part comes easy. Getting used to the clutch and starting out from a stop sign that is going to take me a bit of getting used to. Here is a pick of the new Ride.

Not at the moment. I had not anticipated not having a regular full time job to find the right area to build up and get fine tuned. SO that I could find the right market needing my services... Only started in CNC in the last 5 months.

So Prior to my Dad passing away in October He purchased a ShapeOKO CNC it is a DIY CNC Kit. It was 500mm X 500mm basic cutting area of 10 inch by 10 inch. Well in December I had built up so much Vacation time and the policy where I was working was USE IT OR Loose it. SO I ended up taking the last 3 weeks of December off. So my plan for that time was to expand it from 500mm X 500mm to 1000mm x 1800mm. I ordered all of the parts and we started the rebuild... For all the details for any one interested you can read all about it here My Build Log WARNING before you go to my Build Log it is Photo Heavy so if you do not have a Broad band connection it will be very slow loading. Thanks, Todd

So I have not been doing much Scooting. Well Winters I do not do much scooting. Well it has been quite busy and also very sad. The busy was most all of last year I was working 50-60 hours a week. Then end of October my Dad and I built a CNC. You can Check out my Build log if you would like on that here Damin69's Shapeoko 2 build logOk Now on to the SAD. The Week after Xmas my Dad got sick I took him the hospital and We lost him January 1st. Starts the year off Great huh? Then this last Tuesday I go in to work and at 2:30 in the afternoon found out that my job has been eliminated. The following day I find out they are pretty much shutting down. So not only do I not have my Scooter pal I no longer have a job either. :-(

Not seeing any photos. But I can say if it is a head gasket that changing head gaskets is very easy with the 244cc and can be done without removing the engine from the scooter in less than 2 hours that is including taking the body off and putting it back on. Plus a full gasket set of for the CF250/CN250 is under 20 bucks shipped.

So I am just about due to adjust the Valves on my Linhai and there is very little room for getting tools in there so I had been looking around and I found these Valve Wrenches I was wondering if anyone else uses them and how they like them. I ordered a set and should be getting them in the next week.
