So Prior to my Dad passing away in October He purchased a ShapeOKO CNC it is a DIY CNC Kit. It was 500mm X 500mm basic cutting area of 10 inch by 10 inch. Well in December I had built up so much Vacation time and the policy where I was working was USE IT OR Loose it. SO I ended up taking the last 3 weeks of December off. So my plan for that time was to expand it from 500mm X 500mm to 1000mm x 1800mm. I ordered all of the parts and we started the rebuild... For all the details for any one interested you can read all about it here My Build Log WARNING before you go to my Build Log it is Photo Heavy so if you do not have a Broad band connection it will be very slow loading. Thanks, Todd

Even though I know little on how to run one of these I'm no stranger to their uses. As a former owner of a specialized fabrication/maintenance company we had one of these for cutting out parts especially UHMW and nylon for conveyors and other things we built in the food industry and bakery plants we served along with other industries too.
We also bought a laser cutter and it was nice. Have you any type business lined out for your CNC?

Not at the moment. I had not anticipated not having a regular full time job to find the right area to build up and get fine tuned. SO that I could find the right market needing my services... Only started in CNC in the last 5 months.
