Hello, My name is Angel and i am having problems with my yy250t. The scooter's idle will stay at normal levels then drops down to where it will shut off or come close to it. When i have been able to get it to run it bogs down and i get backfire from exhaust and does not get up to high speeds. The speedometer is not working properly either! I love to ride and its killing me that the season has started and I'm not on the road. Please help!!! lol Thanks in advance

Speedometer on these chino are pretty unreliable from what I have found. Not sure how many miles you have on it but part of it sounds like it may need a valve adjustment. Also check air cleaner.. On my YY250T I had a heck of a time keeping the air box on I finally found a Flexable tube solution to get rid of the rigid box that kept coming off. It is important that the air be coming threw the air filter. The box I am talking about is the J shaped piece that connects the main airbox to the Carb. If you run in an area with alot of dust and such you do not want to end up having dirt end up going through the carb it will really mess up the piston. You may just need a quick Idle adjustment the screw is on the side of the carb where the throttle cable connects to carb. a quick 1/4 turn in on that might help.
