I am trying to verify if I have the position of the cam sprocket vs. the flywheel set correctly. The cam doesn't have any marks in it, so I am relying on the two holes in the sprocket being parallel with the top of the head when cam lobes are downward. If that is the correct position of the cam when at TDC, can anyone tell me what marks on the flywheel should be lined up with the index mark? As the flywheel rotates, I come upon a set of marks that look like " ". After those there is another strange mark and then after that what looks like a flat mark. After reassembling I'm wondering if my timing is off due to me aligning with the wrong marks. Yes that is what you line up with. I believe there are 3 holes in that sprocket the two should line up parallel to the top edge of the head. If it runs rough you are 180 degrees off on the cam. I had that happen when I rebuilt mine the first time.

New Ford

Renault and Ford have joined forces to create the perfect small car for women.
Mixing the Renault 'Clio' and the Ford 'Taurus' they have designed the 'Clitaurus'.
It comes in pink, and the average male car thief won't be able to find it - let alone turn it on - even if someone tells him where it is and how to do it.
Rumor has it though, that it leaks transmission fluid once a month, and can be a real bitch to start in the morning! Some have reported that on cold winter mornings, when you really need it, you can't get it to turn over.
New models are initially fun to own, but very costly to maintain, and horribly expensive to get rid of.
Used models may initially appear to have curb appeal and a low price, but eventually have an increased appetite for fuel, and the curb weight typically increases with age. Manufacturers are baffled as to how the size of the trunk increases, but say that the paint may just make it LOOK bigger.
This model is not expected to reach collector status. Most owners find it is best to lease one, and replace when it becomes troublesome.

Ok since I have some time now we decided to Pull the Motor in the POS Roketta and put all new Gaskets in it so I can get it running and Sell it. Well Just putting it back together started putting the head on I was snugging up the first bolt on the head and it snapped off. Lucky it was just a M6 Flange bolt but I still need to find where to get one this length.
I need a M6x120mm Flanged head bolt.
Anyone by chance know where I can get one at? I am hoping I do not have to go to Fasten all and special order one that would really suck cause it would be expensive.

Well today was a first ever for me. It was in the 60s We were able to get the scooters out and go for a Ride. Wisconsin in November riding is normally halted by now so today was a treat. Was hoping the whole weekend was going to be in them temps but now it looks like it will now be dropping into the 30s. :-(

I am in the opinion since I have kids it is best to Lead by example. I have always enforced the kids putting their seatbelts on as soon as they get in the car and they see me put mine on. My kids are getting to the age where they are starting to drive and If I was to not wear my seat belt after making them put theirs on the odds are they would go without them as soon as they are away from me just for the fact they would just plain say well you dont wear yours why should I wear mine.
Another prime example of Parents not making their kids wear seat belts because the mother did not always wear hers and she got tired of fighting with her daughter to put hers on. Well mother is driving down the road and a 16 year old girl driving Mini van crosses Center line hits that mother head on. The only one Injured and IN CRITICAL condition is the 13 year old girl the mother had let go with out. She went Head first out through the Windshield and landed head first on the Pavement.
Though I still feel that is is a persons Choice and should not be Law and government should stay out of our lives. I do believe people should wear them.
Another good example is Semi driver has someone slam on the breaks in front of him he has to swerve around and it jars him enough that it tosses him out of the seat. Now he has ZERO control over this 80,000 lbs vehicle who knows where it is going to end up? Ditch and only that semi drive hurt or back on the the busy highway into lots of people? I know even if he is wearing his belt this could happen also but if he is strapped to the seat there is a better chance of him maintaining control. Period.

Wheez I used the same thing that B did on one of my scoots. I think I flattned the spikes a bit to keep it from tearing up the plastic.
