Going to work the other day, as I was climbing up hill my scooter shut off so I drifted down to a local super market and tried to start my scoot, no start, it would just crank until my battery was dead, called wife, she came, jump scoot with car, still no start had to tow it home, this where it get interesting. Check thing out I notice that my fuel filter was only half full (bottom part) and not enough gas was reaching the hose going into my fuel pump so I decide to drain the gas from tank thinking maybe plug up, changed fuel filter, and check for spark, (plug wasn't firing, replace it and it started to fire), put everything together now and still no start, it would just crank, and cranke, so I decide to spray some carb cleaner in the top diaphragm and behold she fired and kept on running, so I guess I'm saying all this to ask what the hack happen, did I have a vacuum lock or what. (I'll show the fuel filter I replace) Attachments:

The disc brakes fit into caliper and there is two bolts that goes through the caliper to keep them in place, make sure they are not loose.

Another area that is important is to keep the gas tank full, especially now because of winter so the inside of the tank doesn't rust (big problem).

Put a little of the lithium grease on your clutch (just a little on the inside front where the needle bearing are)

You also said you have a high pitched sound 5-15mph when putting the clutch and variator back together did you put some grease on the boss shaft areas? it could be the belt adjusting it take about 100miles for the belt to go into place. the rear wheel bearing is in your swing arm, if its set up like my 250b scooter
