Not sure but I had the center stand rubber wheel come apart and the center stand was beating the engine to death......nice and shiny and it would only sound like a rod knocking when I was accelerating.....changed the wheel and the scoot is nice and quiet....check it out...

Hi guys and gals....I installed the manual choke mod on my scoot and it works great...everyday the temp and humidity have changed from the previous day...with the manual choke mod I can adjust the idle with the choke mod...not hard to install...just a different way to do the same thing...enjoy the ride..

Thanks for the info...next time I take the front fairing off...I will check that out....the problem was there with the OEM headlight setup...the rocker switch between hi/lo failed to switch the headlight...so I have Lo beam when the ignition switch is turned on and then I pull the passing switch to get Hi beam....which I can see almost forever....so my hookup now did not change how the rocker switch worked....it was there after about 2 1/2 yrs of use...and then it quite working....go fiqure....then I did manual choke....grips....HID....recovered seat....thanks again...

I have the Hi/Lo with relay....Bi/Xenon...H4....5000k...superslim ballast....telescopic bulb....it is not the single beam which only has the lo beam.....I have high beam if I use the passing switch...This is why I changed the switch....I can see the bulb move or telescopic out...this problem was with the original bulbs...so I replaced the left handlebar switch...which I got from .roketa.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> .roketa.com ..... the exact copy of the original one.... and the problem is still the same... the hi/lo beam switch does not work for high beam....just low.. the HID's are so bright that I don't need hi beam....was just trying to get the switch to work properly... |

Hi...there is a difference in engine oil and transmission gear oil..... 10W40 for the engine....... and 75/90WT gear lube for the transmission...

Which scoot do you have........... are you missing the bolt & nut that holds the center stand on the scoot or the rubber cushion(wheel)...that keeps the center stand off your engine... ..... I had to replace the wheel on mine because of half of it missing...allowing the center stand to contact the bottom of the engine...very loud rattle/knock ... this fixed the problem which I thought was the CVT....Variator....Clutch...Belt... after I removed the cover and looked.... try .roketa.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.roketa.com .....enjoy the ride... |
