I want to remove the big plastic dash panel on my JCL MP250A. This is the panel that surrounds the steering shaft and has the glove compartment in it.
Can anyone tell me the secret for removing it? I tried once but it would not move very far, even after removing the large bolt inside the glove box.
I am hoping to mount a small motorcycle radio in the recessed circle on the left side. I want to use the existing speakers. The only other thing is I need to find a switched +12v and +12v going directly to the battery. I hear reverse polarity can cook one of these little radios.
Thanks in advance.

All correct instructions on removing the plastic and the fastners he's talking about on the windsheild are called well nuts a good idea but with Chinese rubber they don't hold well but go to your local ace hardware and get your own good ones and they work great! .hansonrivet.com/w71.htm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.hansonrivet.com/w71.htmWhen you get the radiao installed you need to hook up to any solid black wire on the 12vDC+ and green for ground, in fact you'll see a little plug hanging in the front not hooked up to anything, its a 12volt accesory plug with a black and green will be hot with the key on use it for your radio power.
