Well, new bearing is here,I have it in the tranny cover & still has the same noise as the old one, when turning the shaft by hand...I don't think the bearing was the problem at all. I'm going to put it back together & see how in sounds..But,I think it will solve nothing....

I took some emery cloth to the clutch pads & the bell...Will see how everything works when the bearing comes in & I put it together..I think the bearing will make a difference But not convinced it's the problem...

it does spin freely....the noise does get worse on acceleration But it is also bad on idle...Well,I guess I need to wait for the gear & see how it siunds after I install it...What really gets me is the clutch seems to work & looks normal.....The noise is defiantly coming from the rear to the scoot.....

I checked them & they are good was thinking of putting some grease on them & some on the shaft the clutch goes on when I reassemble it......The noise lessons some when the tire stops, but still have it at idle.....

I just had a thought....That shaft don't turn at idle,so I'm still thinking it's the clutch....If that shaft ain't turning, why would I still have the noise? It sounds more & more like something to do with the clutch to me......

Yes thats it alley,I also found it on partsforscooters....I hope this is the problem...Is it ok to start the scoot with the variator & clutch off??? I did & the motor sounded good But it runs very high rpm's,so I shut it off right away.....I did hear a whipping sound,I think it was the end of the crank that the variator goes on....

ok,it's out...It's a 6205 bearing....I think the bearing will be easy to find,it's the gasket...Wondering if I could use some form a gasket & use the old one?

Ok,alley,Tell me what you think...At higher rpm's I think this could be the problem.... tinypic.com/player.php?v=2i9h5sj%3E&s=8#.U7s2JrEzRPAlso,is it ok,to start the scoot with the variator & clutch off??? Now if this bearing is the problem, how do I get it out of the cover?? Is it pressed in?? Or is it just that plastic sleeve making the noise...

Ok,on further inspection,it seems like it could be the bearing in the cover that the shaft that the clutch goes onto....There looks to be a plastic cover over it looking at the outside of the cover....When spinning the shaft it don't turn smooth, there is a small grinding noise, which could be multiplied when you apply increased rpm to it...There is a bearing just inside the cover on the same shaft, that seems to be good,it's the one the is pressed into the cover that has a little noise when truning it by hand....

ok,removed the tranny cover & pulled all the gears & check out all the bearings & everything looks good, bearings seem to turn very easy & all gear teeth look excellent....i'm wondering if it's the bearing that is on the bracket that the brakes & muffler are mounted on.... or the bearing just behind the wheel...
