Yeah! Appreciate it fellas! Its as long as i could get it with out it looking TOOO ridiculous! But it is really stretched! it feels nice! Im going with a Foot Brake set up. Got a peg set up from a gsxr750 and going to mount aluminum frame siders a bit further up so i can stretch out on long runs! But it is really going to be a simple set up. Going to Have just a throttle and right master cylinder on the handle bars. Ignition and on/off buttons for headlights and aux lights will be attatched to the side of the frame. still figuring out what ima do about the turn signals. so we will see. Gonna try to get my headlights this week to mock them up. Also gotta get some tubing for a chin-bone for support! Custom scooter on the way! cant wait till its done! I also do need a gy6 harness to harvest from. (unmolested) does anyone have one they would be willing to donate? Ill pay for shipping!

It's about that time to start my build. Ok, my build is a Ruckus Clone. Funny story, I tried to buy it last year (same bike) but a friend beat me to it. I sold my scooter (Project: Gysixxer) for a family emergency. A year later I copped this clone. Not that I have anything else against rucks but I like to be different. Yeah. You got a point there. I just didnt want to be laggin behind anyone. When i ride. Id like to keep up. I ask about the cams, because i have a new a12 cam sitting in my garage. Id probably just do some minor tweaks and mods. not go full blown into it. Which is not what i wanted to do.

Been awhile since i have posted. I sold my 150cc project 2mths ago due to a family emergency. (death in the family). I will be buying a ruckus clone in the next couple of weeks. I do plan on swapping a 150cc into it down the road (fully built), But i do want to build up some performance from the 50cc. I plan on doing a custom clone, I have already came up with a theme!
Does anyone have the Ruckus Clone? Big Bored? Which Kit? What should i be looking at as far as different variants of motors (so i get the right bbk)? Is 150cc Cams same as 50cc???
Im getting a clone ruck, because i want a RUCKUS, but at the end of the day, when its all said and done. It will just be a gy6 bolted to a ruckus frame. Not worth the money to buy one to just have the frame. I am very aware that it is not the same. Please dont make a point to say "just get a ruckus", I am fully aware of the differences even looks of the 2.
Thanks for any help!

Today was the worst day ever. I finish the scooter @ 330am, go for a ride around 8am. And before I got to go out. It tipped over. And scratched up the side.....brake light broke. Come home and it stopped starting. Determined the new rectifier I had is bad, stator wasn't charging, replaced and went for a ride. Screw on the pick up coil broke. And the pick up coil hit the flywheel and cracked.....had to push it home a block. Drilled out the hole, retapped it and issue was fixed. Took it out for a ride again. And went to fill it up so I can ride it tonight. And as I'm going to the gas station I realize it wE slipping and making a squeeling noise. Went home and the cvt was smoking. Took it off and all of a sudden black shavings from the belt comes out and a chunk of alluminum. I look at my case and there is a 1/4in hole in my case. It wedged and and was eating my belt......I've pretty much had it with this scooter.....I'm gonna buy the belt and sell it....to much of a headache. I missed bike week. I'm so pissed.....fml...

Ok, so last year I bought a new racing CDI. It started messing up so I bought a new one because I was happy with the performance I got. Well the new one, was different. Slightly smaller (not by much) and the color was different. Where the old was light blue and the new one was dark.blue, well I took it out for a spin today and well it didntbseem like it wanted to get past 54mph, I think I got it to 55mph but that was it. The old one I was able to get to 63mph. It feels maybe like the rev likiter hasn't been removed....I'm debating on trying my old one to truely see if it was bad or not and not just my wiring harness giving issues...
My question is, is there a way to manually remove the rev limiter??? Or is it only in the CDI???
