Been awhile since i have posted. I sold my 150cc project 2mths ago due to a family emergency. (death in the family). I will be buying a ruckus clone in the next couple of weeks. I do plan on swapping a 150cc into it down the road (fully built), But i do want to build up some performance from the 50cc. I plan on doing a custom clone, I have already came up with a theme!
Does anyone have the Ruckus Clone? Big Bored? Which Kit? What should i be looking at as far as different variants of motors (so i get the right bbk)? Is 150cc Cams same as 50cc???
Im getting a clone ruck, because i want a RUCKUS, but at the end of the day, when its all said and done. It will just be a gy6 bolted to a ruckus frame. Not worth the money to buy one to just have the frame. I am very aware that it is not the same. Please dont make a point to say "just get a ruckus", I am fully aware of the differences even looks of the 2.
Thanks for any help!

Sorry I didn't see the post Gysixxer. All depends on what you want out of it? CVT upgrades are cheap and will help some and just a upjet and air filter will get a little more. I'm not sure on the cams will have to check on that one.
But if I was going to swap a 150cc in her I believe I would use my money there because cost wise on the 50cc is going to be the same and if you're going to swap it then why do that for no more than you will gain? You might sell the stock 50cc and offset your 150cc costs?

Yeah. You got a point there. I just didnt want to be laggin behind anyone. When i ride. Id like to keep up. I ask about the cams, because i have a new a12 cam sitting in my garage. Id probably just do some minor tweaks and mods. not go full blown into it. Which is not what i wanted to do.

That A12 will go nice in a good head and you might want to consider porting it too. Polish the intake manifold to a perfect 24mm nice and smooth for good air/fuel flow. The get the CVT area inline and watch out!

Will see. Im hoping i have this scooter in 2 checks. Gonna finance it. Which is why i just want to build the 50cc some, so i can have some performance. And ill buy a brand new 150cc motor and build that up!!!! This will be a custom Long & Low w/ Fatty Conversion! Cant wait!!!
