I just realized, In the notes there is nothing about the "coil" was that missed? Per the Diagram it shows a b/y and drk grn wire....one is ground and one is from cdi? I am trying to make my own wiring diagram so i know how it is supposed to go...

those would work with he cdi i have!!!! New Racing Perormance CDI has the wires and male connector coming off the cdi, instead of connected directly to the cdi, so i can swap out connectors if i need to!!! which i may just do that!!!! Thanks, excellent Links!!!!

lol, I probably wont be using any of the other wires as want to keep it simple. But what i will end up doing in the future is rewire the scooter. And not use the chinese wires...Now im debating on doing it this go around and get it done and over with, whats keeping me back is how will i go about using the original connections with out using any of the stock wires? Unless i remove all the plugs and just go with male female connections....not sure if that would be smart, but all the wires would be labeled and color coated to match, so i wont get them confused....suggestions?

Hey just to note, I realized yesterday, those black ground wires you are talking about...as i can remember i do not ever remember seeing a ground from motor to engine....HOWEVER. when i first got the scooter from my friend...i did add a ground from starter to frame.....AND, the fancover ground has always been there....at that centralized gound point. there was the green wire and the battery ground....

That is eventually going to be what I am gonna end up with. And thaT was also my other reason for shortening the wires. But I wasnt sure if that was true about voltage drop....still learning here

Jr, this is my kill switch and start button.... For anyone reading this, I am trying to modify my harness and simplify it, make it more accessible as well as clean up the engine area....I am going to attempt to move my harness, CDI, starter relay and rectifier, under my floorboard instead of under the front fairring. The reason for this is I have done a handlebar conversion and have no need for all the excess wires and such, and Id like to have everything in one location. . What I don't have and dont want is; instrument cluster, indicators, horn and turn signals. (Yes horn n turn signals will not be wired up) and the wiring for the alarm. All I will have is headlights and brakelights. The headlights will be connected directly to the battey along with license plate lights via switch. Brakelights will be converted to LED and will be wired into the harness. You may ask why.....I say....why not....lol Stay tuned!!!
