I'm wanting to sell my Rocketa 250B. It has 17,000 miles on it and has break issues. Front brakes don't work and rear brakes are not strong. I want to list it locally, but not sure of asking price. Any thoughts? Thanks

As far as your plug goes they sell at auto parts stores a greeze you put on the threads so they won't seize. Oh yea I put all LED lights in signals and brakes.

Scott the 2013 Kymco 500 is brand new. the fact that the 14000 miles an going strong threw me off,i guess then that is a good deal only 500.00 more for the 500cc, 8-|oh well ,though I guess for that kinda$ I would look for left over jap scooter there ussally the best deals ,but what do I know sorry speed racer an I missed the link to ahaha da,its hard to see the info ,say $6000.00 someone has a real nice jap scooter on there floor somewhear ,when I sold my bike there was ressesion in 07 to 08 was bad time for me to sell ,but I did not want it to get another year older,ok I edit the other post couse was way off, ? about you 2008 an 15000 miles ,wow is that all you did ,what kinda pdi the tire valves there still the same ,same belt ,like I had said that's like alot of miles on these with no problems thanks, would like to hear more on your 2008 When tires were changed I changed the valve stems. New antifreeze from the start, new RR, new carb, all new hoses and vacuum hoses, new sliders, new belt after 10,000 miles, new clutch, and a new battery. Plug every 5,000 miles. I think that's all I did to it.

Yes a Honda dealer selling Kymco. You are right as I didn't notice it weighed about 470 pounds. Not sure what the 250 weighs.
I still have my Roketa 54b and it now has 15,100 miles on it and starts every time. I only adjusted the valves at 5,000 miles and have never touched them since. It doesn't stall, starts on the first try so I see no need to touch the valves. It's on it's 3rd rear tire, but only second front tire. Brakes work great and it has not overheated. Right now it's only simple maintenance. So my 2008 model is still going. I don't even know if they ever improved them as when I look at the models which say 2013 they all seem to be the same as my 2008.
I heard the 500 Kymco rides nice and is very stable and safe. How are you doing with both your 54b"s?

Any thoughts on this model? I still have my Roketa 250 B, but looking at the Kymco 500 has my attention. Found this one for sale for $5999.00. Kymco

Thanks for the link. but I'll just remove the front cover and wire low beams to a power source.

I would open up the switch and see why it doesn't work--it may be a simple fix--good luck, fflintstone I did and it's not repairable.

Someone smashed my headlight and signal switch. The signals still work, but the headlights don't. Is there a quick way to wire the headlights to a power source? I don't need or care if high beams work, but I do need low beam lights.

By all means replace all the vacuum and the gas line hoses with Made in the USA hoses. They are notorious for cracking and causing all sorts of fuel and vacuum issues.

Cruiser before you install it see if what size the pilot screw is. I took mine apart and cleaned it, but never thought of looking to see if a size was listed on it. In fact I didn't notice the idle screw until after I put it in. It's a pain to get to, but once I had it set the idle has never changed once the enricher heats up.

Todd, last year I had the same issue. The scooter was running fine then just stalled. I found out it was the coil. Did the same as yours had to wait about 10 minutes and it would start right up. You have that expensive cdi, JR and I have the cheap one with two connector plugs.
