I'm wanting to sell my Rocketa 250B. It has 17,000 miles on it and has break issues. Front brakes don't work and rear brakes are not strong. I want to list it locally, but not sure of asking price. Any thoughts? Thanks

Look at the student bulletin board under Alumni Support--you can see what other members are asking for theirs and get a little idea what to ask--then put a picture and description on there --you might get some action--good luck

Thanks as I looked at the ads it seems the best I can get for it is $500.00.

You don't say what year, but I only paid a tad less than $2k for my 2011, and it's only around 5200 miles so far. I've put maybe another $300 into it for things I didn't break (another $200 or so for those). Were I selling, I'd likely start around $1000 and be willing to dicker a little, and mine has no issues other than some repainting that's not quite up to factory specs. For one with 17k miles and brake issues, $500 sounds plausible. Might start a little higher if it really looks good, but don't get your hopes up. Buy cheap, ride cheap, sell cheap is probably the formula.
