I sell them and are happy with them. Just got 2 "forever 150's" The last two. They are big ruck clones. pretty much all the bikes have good build quality, just be sure to, like all the other 2011-2012 scoots, punch a small (nail) hole in the gas cap. especially on the falcon. I had 2 of them one after the other bog and starve for gas, punched a hole in the caps and that fixed them.
also they are awaiting the arrival of the valentine, which looks like an old vespa/stella/piaggio check them out! below is the only site I can find with pics of it. but they will have it in 5 colors. I just talked to puma at the dealer show last week.
Some people can and will never read the old small print and if the scooter doesn't meet their expectations then all of a sudden a simple little thing they can fix and a dealer is willing to glady send a part for becomes a nightmare and the calling the dealer a bad dealer because they are not mechanical or again didn't fully investigate what they were getting into in the first place.
Then when they get on the forums they either quickly learn and go forward or the scooter quickly becomes a Craigslist bargain for someone who can and will fix it.
The road goes both ways on this and sometimes IMO the dealers don't get a fair shake. This is my opinion and again it's not supported by any deal or dollars from and vendor here.
If a vendor does well I'll be the first to stand up and tell you if they don't I can do that too.
JR
I hear you JR, yeah I used to work for Peace Sports (green earth). Selling online sucks. Especially when you have to be the bad guy because your chinese bosses say no. I was fed up with that crap. Now I am strictly Blitz. In store providing the best service I can, and what is great is that Jay and I designed all of peace sports (dallas) new schemes, graphics, names and colors. Now I get to legitimately retail scooters that I designed myself or had a major hand in. I just needed a job before, but now I am excited to stare my customers in the face and really help them and be involved in the community.
The paint is Krylon Dual satin black all in one primer and paint. It is my personal scooter and yeah it's the one I was repairing the panel on. It is a 2008 Eagle Milano 150
I painted my tail light housing and I got my LED's in the mail for the turn signals and tail brake light, now I just need to wire up my resistor and diodes to make my "high mount" have a dim and bright for tail/stop
Got this scoot from a customer at a steal, she wanted a sportier model and I like this one. It was kinda banged up so I cleaned her up and tore her down to the frame
more pics to come later. as I make progress on the scoot.
cruiser that is a NICE setup, I would polish them if i were you!
JR the problem I ran into was that the stupid holes won't reach the motor, they are skewed the wrong way. anyways, I will snap a pic of my "work" on tuesday
oh and where I have been is rattifying my Milano. She's comin together. Maybe I will have some pics on tuesday of her!
So I bought an exhaust for a customer, and it got here yesterday. Now what I cannot figure out is how this bracket works... I am really bad at puzzles but can rebuild an engine no prob. This thing has me stumped... Have any of you guys ran into this bracket before an how did you go about installing it?
You can order from alot of online dealers and get decent scooters if you read the reviews, even greenearthscooters.com sells good scooters at low prices. Don't EXPECT ANY after sale support from ANY company you buy from online though. If you get a real warranty, you get it. If they tell you "you have to ship the scooter back" then you don't really have a warranty...
