I sold it for $1000, i wanted $200 more but the kid was willing to do some repairs himself. it wasnt in the best condition as far as the body goes but it ran great.
as for the new ride, i love it! its a bigger engine and it only has 2800 miles on it ( its an '05) and it runs like a dream. and as for getting rid of it... not anytime soon, sorry.

I just sold my 2007 Roketa Bali-250. I needed a bigger bike that could go on the freeway and wouldn't shake itself to death at 65mph. dont get me wrong, i loved having this scoot but i didnt want to work it to death. so anyway, i upgraded to a Suzuki Burgman 400.
I will point the new owner towards this forum and i will try to stop by and help out whenever i can.
thanks for all the help and advice and keep on scooting!

i just sold (needed a bigger bike) my 2007 Roketa Bali-250 for $1000. i hoped to get more but after doing more research i realized that a new 2011 model would only run about 2200 or so.

I have unhooked the cable from the wheel and spun it with my drill, it showed 45-50mph so i am assuming the cable and instrument panel are fine, could the little gearbox on the front tire be bad?

my speedo died last night, it seemed like the drive cable was making a clicking noise last night on the way home, a while later i went out to go to the store and it clicked loudly 3-4 times and then went quiet and no more spedo..

I have a 2007 Roketa Bali-250 that i have been tinkering with for the past few years and I finally need it for transportation so i am going through and trying to sort out any and all issues it has. so far i have replaced the valve stems on both tires, changed all fluids, replaced the keyswitch and turn signal switch.
The scooter is supposed to have a top speed of 77mph but the fastest i have ever gotten it to go is 60, on the level or slightly uphill. last night on my way home i was going down a long hill and i decided to push it a little farther than usual, i got up to about 67mph when it bogged down and slowed to 50-55mph and it wouldnt go above that untill i was back on the level and about 2.5 miles down the road. any ideas on what would cause this?

my rear valve stem failed on my second test drive ( i got the scooter from an older neighbor who wrecked it) i was going down the road at about 50 when the rear end started to go sideways on me. needless to say, it scared the heck out of me and i immediately bought new valve stems for both tires

hi, im new to the forum but this sounds like a problem that my Roketa Bali-250 had. it ended up being the inline fuel filter had a small crack at the seam and it leaked for a while after i parked it but the gas evaporated before getting to the floor so it made it hard to pinpoint the problem. hope this helps
