Check behind the instrument gauge it may have come loose and pulled out. It happens you then just need to screw it back on nice and tight. Also check by the wheel make sure the cable is still in all the way and the screw that holds it in place did not come out. Alleyoop

These cables also hardly ever come with much lubrication, I had one rust completely through next to the end.
Dave with Abscooters one of our trusted vendors will have the right cable if it is indeed broke.

I want to throw this out there also, if the cable isn't tightened downed to proper torque spec, it can work itself loose like mine did, and start rotating at an angle and bore out the hole it resides in, like a domino effect lol

Add this to the list it could completely come out and start tearing away at the wires under the cowl as the cable is spinning around Alleyoop

I have unhooked the cable from the wheel and spun it with my drill, it showed 45-50mph so i am assuming the cable and instrument panel are fine, could the little gearbox on the front tire be bad?

The cable end where you attached it to spin is usually a piece of metal split in half which fits on a MALE flat piece inside. If either are broke or partly broke that is the problem.
If the Flat piece inside the PUCK by the wheel is busted you will need a new puck. If the end of the cable is broke just get a new cable.

I just had to replace my puck! Was hearing a rubbing/clicking noise from front end... yeah little worried! Hate front end noises turned out the clip inside the puck had stretched out on it allowing the insides to just slide around and not turn with the wheel. Cheap fix once I found the right size the one Scrappy had was small think I found right one at Powersports Max but got one at my local dealer for half the price!
