As I mentioned in the first post, Scrappy did a bait and switch picturing a Mitsuboshi belt on the site and sending me a generic Chinese brand. Got upset when I called them on it. I put it on so I could ride and ordered a Gates from another vendor and I have it in my garage waiting for me to put it on. On my way home tonight, not even 1,000 miles after putting the generic belt on, it shredded. What a piece of crap. I knew it would fail prematurely if left on but i thought I had more than 1000 miles to get the new belt installed. Lesson learned. Just as they say on this site and others, go for a Gates or a Mitsuboshi. Generic will get you every time.

In any event, before you start messing with wires start with something simple. Check your fuses.

the 250 B is the Linhai clone, so its 1.4 liters of oil. The gas is 3.4 gallons. The advice i got on gear oil is to drain it, then add until its full.

See if you can find your scoot on Roketa's product site. roketa.com/product/product_list.jsp?cateID=2610Many of the models have links to expanded drawings of all of the scooter's parts. I use their drawings for my scoot and its really helped a lot. |

When I was thinking about this a while back I read that lots of people also suggested that while the covering is off you cut some foam out and replace it with some memory foam and/or a gel pad. Lots of that for sale on ebay and if you search on the old site there are a number of threads about ideas of how to do it.
