This may be more appropriately transferred to a different location on the site, but after much searching I have finally found a one stop shop for exploded parts drawings and even pictures of this scooter. It should make ordering parts much easier because while this scoot is still a Linhai copy, not everything is interchangeable with an MC-250B. roketa.com/product/product_support.jsp?cateID=2610&sonCateID=0&proID=33907

I just removed a bearing in my rear swing arm. Yours sounds different, but the way it was explained to me (and what worked, getting the old out and the new in) is to heat the area around the bearing with a torch or heat gun, then bang out the bearing using a hammer and a socket bigger than the inner diameter of the bearing.

Well, sorry to say that I lost the nut and bushing on my ride to work. I don't think its the bearing - I think the nut was probably damaged. The nut is easy, but BMS parts did not stock the bushing, nor did I see it on the web. Found it and ordered the two parts from Roketa, and nut + bushing +shipping = $27!!!!!
Reason I knew there was a problem - a slight "twist" everytime I hit or let off the gas. Looks like I'm going to be down yet another week.

Done. I waited another week for the seal, but I think the reason the old one was so smashed was because someone really crushed to get it in - the crevasse is really just deep enough for the bearing. since the bearing is sealed i ultimately left it out. I cleaned the axle and put on some lithium grease (as per the Yamaha 250 manual) and the bolt torqued right on and there it sits after my test ride. Safe riding to all, and all my thanks and respect to those on this site for their willingness to help out a fellow rider. Safe riding to all.

I have never tried the Harbor Freight tire changer, but there are many posts out there that say that you need a special adapter to have it work for motorcycles and while that adapter used to be for sale it is not now.

Great job, and I really enjoyed the descriptions of the work with pics. I'm always on the lookout for one of these selling cheaply from a fed up owner on craigslist!

Locktite is a great idea. Also, I took my boys out and we retraced my steps and found the bushing. Is it supposed to be lubricated at all? If so, with what? It was greasy but in a generally dirty kind of way - hard to tell what was deliberate. thanks all.

Alley-
33 is the big "sleeve" - that's on. What is missing fits in the space shown and looks like a washer from a garden hose, only bigger.

I just changed out my rear rim on my Vog 260 after hitting a devastating pothole which bent the rim and even cracked one of the spokes. I put it all together and went for a test ride, and then checked it out to see that the rear axle nut and the spacer/washer guy that goes under the nut fell off. Here's where I'm talking about: I know where to buy the nut, but what is the spacer? Here is a roketa diagram posted recently - is it part #37?? roketa.com/product/parts_detail.jsp?partId=30732&partName=ENGINE Will something bad happen if I ride without it? everthing seems locked in by the swing arm. thanks in advance, and happy holidays to all!!!

There was a guy in one of the cross country scooter races last year who won or came in right up there with a Salsbury - except that he put a ninja 250 engine in it! Here is a link to a website where some people turned a Reflex into a streamlined scooter. Real artistry there. modernvespa.com/forum/topic7349.html
