well just going down the list on the performance parts he sells. I bought the stage 1 HP coil & cdi along with a ngk plug .Working in order the next thing is a full flow air filter and then the jet. Isn't that how you build a high performance motor ? LOL! Sure you are right about the jet sizes . Thanks, you saved me $4.25. Only thought about a change cuz it chugs at 45-50 mph w/ wot so the jet must be clogged.

Thanks for the seller contact, very reasonable. I think I will try to rejet this carb to a 125 and use a full flowing air filter. If it is a piece of junk it is cheap enough to replace the carb.

My scooter was stolen but I got it back in pretty much 4he same shape as it was in. I have not removed my carb ,local shop looked it over and said the carb jets are dirty but the carb is sealed so I need a new carb for $75 + labor. I asked if he meant that the mixture screw had a plug .He said no, you cant remove the bottom of the carb to get to the float & jets. Can this be true ? Plus I know I can get a carb for a 150 for $50. What should I do ?

thanks , may be the right time to upgrade the rollers while I'm in there. Do you know the stock weight and what do I want for a little more throttle response. Not so much off the line but when I accelerate on the roll. thanks

150cc idles and runs great. Sometimes if I stop quickly and start up again it feel like it won't rev much and moves like a turtle ,If I back off and gun it I'm fine. Could this be the rollers wearing or sticking ?

I always feel like I am just melting solder onto the wires and not really bonding them , but I do pretty good with copper pipe and a torch. I will try doing better prep and see how that works.

Funny, I had a new rear tire installed today. It had 6,000 kilometers on it and was as bald as me. I could have gone a little longer on dry but not wet roads. However I had picked up a roofing staple in it and rather than yank it and go flat I went ahead and bought a new tire. I have only had this scooter a month or so and have put 1200 ks on it myself. I can see that the pads are pretty thin and I will change them soon myself. So I asked the tech to check my rear shoes and let me know. So when he rolls it out I asked about the brakes he said these Chinese scoots wear out long before the brake shoes, so I adjusted them up a little for you. They looked fine. He works on commission I'm sure so he would have tried to sell me brakes If I needed them. Next time the wheel is off I'll take a peak. I have had many bikes and the ones with disc front and rear drums do seem to need fronts about 2 to 1 Did I answer any questions ? If not at least I got to work out my 2 typing fingers.

Great link ! Always looking for that kind of stuff. Solder collars look cool if they do what I think they do.

My o My, I came here for some tech support and not to chew the fat with a bunch of biddys worried about who likes who and what's your brownie recipe . I guess they have them on every forum.
