Went for a drive to get some food and I noticed that the speedo was acting funky. It felt like it was having a hard time catching up to the speed I was going and it took forever to go back to zero after a full stop now it was 45 degrees outside when I drove but I doubt that has anything to do with it.. Any help is appreciated

While I admit to being a fan of Taiwanese scooters I have to admit that Ice Bear has improved their line over the past five years. My riding pal has a small scoot business and the Ice Bear scooters he has been bring in show a great improvement in quality. Cant say any thing about the trike as he does not sell them. But it would seem logical that if the scoots have improved the trikes will have also. It has always been my contention that the Chinese can improve the product if there is a demand for better quality in that product. Does any body remember when the first Japanese cars were imported and every one considered them to be sub par?? Today quality wise and design wise they dominate the American market. declare That's the exact same point I make earlier. I remember when Hyundai was building Excels with cloned Mitsubishi engines, sheet metal that could dent if you farted straight into it at ridiculously low prices. Yes they sucked but then they improved greatly when they made the Accent in 95' and continued to improve as the years went by. Now look at them, they make the best looking cars with top notch fit and finish that even American manufacturers are still lacking. At this point I think it's a waste of my time to reason with Luke. I have enough experience to confidently say that Chinese scooters are not exactly top shelf but the big buys should not be put in a pedestal either. For those with thirst for knowledge google "Can-Am Cracked Frames", Arctic Cat Bevel Gear", "Honda Reflex Fuel Pump"(They are EXPENSIVE)

I am from Puerto Rico and I know how hardcore we can get with everything on wheels. We pimp out school buses for gods sake.

A couple of years back in my home land, scooter customization was at it's peak. Here are some of the scoots I was able to find online. Puerto Rico got the scooter bug really bad and they either set them up for show or the drag strip.

I found the exact same key I have so no worries there. Now the fun part will come when the darn key arrives. Hopefully I can get the key cut with no problems. Worse case scenario I'll have to go to the professional locksmith downtown.

I am replacing it because I bought this scooter used so I am doing it mostly to make sure I am using a new proper belt. Besides 25 bucks shipped to my house is a good deal.

Oh I thought you meant an area for greasing. Yeah I changed the gear oil like two weeks ago and the noise continues. I am starting to think that iit be the bearing.

I also hear a weird noise while driving and it's coming from the back on the right side. I always put the bike up on the stand and run it while listening and looking at the area of the noise--have someone run the throttle so you can move around the bike looking for noise--sometimes a brake shoe will make a noise when worn out or picked up a foreign substance,a bearing can get noisy,a tire can rub on the frame ...check the grease in rear hub..hopefully it is something minor---good luck ,fflintstone So the hubs should have grease zerks for lubing or you have to do it the old fashion way?

Ok I am not a newbie when it comes to belt drives since I have four belt driven ATVs but I am wondering if 2,570 miles is an acceptable lifespan for a belt on my Scooter. I am staring to feel some slip on the CVT and it seems that the belt is about to give up.

I decided to fix the radio on the scooter because I ran out of things to do to it. I went to my local CF Moto dealer and the owner was nice enough to let me have one of those button panels (he gave it to me cause it says motorcycle audio in Chinese instead of English) and I connected the panel to my scooter and the radio works. But I want to know where can I find that button panel. I plan to install a shark radio later but I want to see if those things are cheap.
