Jr that Link you put up he lists a 69 and 70mm piston. Oddly enough that Kit I got from Scrappy was the 70mm and the one on it was a 70. The only problem with the Kit that I got was the Wrist Pin was 18mm and I needed 17mm wrist pin. But after thinking about it I am thinking even though it is odd size I might want to stick with 70mm as should give me just a hair more power than if I went to a smaller kit.

Well this issue looks like I made the mistake. I was measuring the Piston at the top not along the lower side. I actually need a 70mm piston. I went out this am and remeasured everything. I feel like a total id10t. Oh well live and learn. But when talking with Big and Little they do not carry the 70mm. So now I have to hope that I can return it. I do not want to spend another $125 bucks for a smaller cylinder to fit the smaller piston. So guess I will find out in a couple of hours...... I will probably end up call in the place JR posted.

This one Has not ever ran well. It has always had a Top end problem since I got it. Plus the fact of the over sized tire on it. But over all I have not sunk much into it other than Time. I have probably dropped about 250 into it. Besides the 500 I paid for it.
Now the Saga continues. I ordered a 69mm piston on ebay from Bigandlittlescooter well needless to say I get the piston and the wrist pin is good 17mm. but the damn piston is only 68mm. So now I am waiting for a call from them tomorrow to see what we can do bout it. I will probably have to get a matched Piston and Head set from them. So another week.

Well the part I got was NOT Defective. But really until you tear it apart on these CHINO how do you really know what all the sizes are. I had ordered the parts MONTHS ago. Had not really anticipated that there was difference in size of Wrist Pins. I am really not upset or mad at any supplier for the parts I got. I Knew it was a crap shoot when I ordered the parts. I am only really bumbed out because it was such a Nice weekend and I was not able to put it together and take it for a ride.

I would think if you have enough metal to drill it and tap it to the next size that would be a great way to go. If you can find a good rubber O ring to go by the head of the new bolt that would finish the deal. Also if you can use a flange head bolt that also would be a bonus.

Yup. I had motor on blocks on back of my Lift with strap in Rafters. Since I was not able to finish up the rebuild had to get one of my set of saw horses set up and fasten blocking up so my motor is now secured to them. until I get the new Piston.
It is hard to get the correct parts all the time on the first try with these Chinos. It is the chance we take ordering parts before I had it tore apart. At least now I am fairly certain I can get it all back together next weekend and Hope to have it on the road and running correctly.
Compression was below 125 psi and and after getting head pulled off I can pretty much see why. I think my suspicions about the thing being run without the air cleaner on and it ending up with Sand run through it are correct. It looks like it has be ending up with oil in the cylinder for some time causing low compression and no top end.
I will keep my fingers crossed and hope this takes care of my no top end problem.
