Beginning today my company like a lot of manufacturing facilities will be going on our annual holiday two week shutdown. A few months ago I told myself that during this time I would do the PDI work that I didn't do when I first received my new scoot. What I haven't done yet and wish to do now is to replace all of the hoses and replace most lights with LEDs and I know that entails removing all or most of the plastics. From what I have read on this forum it's not something that anyone looks forward to. So what I need is any help in this regard and if you could answer the following list of questions and concerns? Thanks in advance.......Dave - is there a proper sequence to removing the plastics and is there any kind of plastics diagram for a Roketa YY250T? - what hoses should I replace.......vacuum, fuel and cooling water? Are there any others that I'm not aware of? - I have already replaced all of the tail lights to LED......I am assuming the front lights will be as simple. Does anyone know what LED lights are required for the front turning signal, running lights and headlight? - is there anything else I should do while I have the plastics removed?

I washed my scoot yesterday and when I was done I cranked it up and took it for a short ride. As I was riding it I checked all the switches to make sure they worked and low and behold my turn signal is not flashing in either direction. When I move the switch either to the left or right the front and rear signal lights come on but don't flash. I'm thinking I might get lucky and when everything dries out it will work this evening. When I was washing it I was thinking maybe I should be more careful around the switches but I figured everything should be waterproof......right? LOL all other switches seem to be working ok......dim and bright front headlight and the horn........

OK..........after the wife and I arrived home from a nice weekend in Gulf Breeze, Fl I thought I would head out to the garage and tackle what I thought would be a simple idle adjustment. So after opening the seat I found the little trap door being held down with one screw. Opened that up and did not see anything that looked like an idle adjustment screw. I currently have the battery cover off too..........so is this access door to the idle adjustment screw there or is supposed to be the one I looked in behind/aft of the battery compartment? PS: I have beenin ship design for 38 years so you might see me using some nautical terms like forward/aft/atwartships......stuff like that!! ;D

OK.....so where is the idle adjustment screw on. YY250T and does that also require removing plastic? I know it's on the carb but what's my angle of attack? And yes I will film the misery!

Thanks ellpee.....the level of confidence you have instilled in me after reading your post is at an all time high! . Seems like almost all mechanical operations on this scoot are laid out in full detail.....some even with videos. Why not one for removal and reassembly of plastics?
