I have a Jonway YY250T and am nearly finished with all PDI the work......but I have one concern. I know this is a very subjective question but is there an acceptable level of vibration. I have seen post on the trunk rattle and bought and split some 1/4" plastic tubing to run around the lower edge and that pretty much did the trick. But I find at idle the mirrors seem to vibrate more than they should. This is my first scooter so knowing what is acceptable is difficult for me.....would just like some of your thoughts......Thanks.....Dave

It's tough getting old isn't it! So I have another post out there about the proper break in for these engines. I am planning on taking the scoot out to the country and drive it like someone is chasing me.....do that for 20 or so miles then dump and refresh the oil......is that the correct way? Also does anyone have a recommendation for a hitch style carrier for a YY250T?

At some point soon I will need to take my scooter someplace out in the country(away from New Orleans)for the "drive like you are being chased" engine break in. Does anyone have a recommendation on the best type/brand of hitch style scooter carriers that I could purchase? Can I assume that most of you believe this is the proper way to break in this engine on a YY250T? After 20 miles or so change the oil again. Thanks.......

I just took receipt of a brand new shiny red yy250t and have read all the post related to changing all of the fluids. After draining the old oil and doing the initial refill I started the engine to circulate the new oil for a few minutes. After topping off the oil I went to start the scoot again and am getting nothing. I am holding down the brake lever but when I press the start button nothing happens. All the running lights, hazard lights, horn, turn signals are operating properly but I cannot start the engine. Do I have a blown fuse.......I started to check them but ran out of time today.......if any of you know of other reasons that would cause this please let me know. I really appreciate this excellent wealth of knowledge......Thanks.......Dave
