Thanks ellpee, How would you proceed..? Strip the wire about 1/4" or a little more maybe, then use the glue to..... glue the green wire down but not the copper wire..? Or glue the copper down too..? Would that interfere with conductivity..? How would you do it..?

The green wire has broken loose from it's rivet back plate on the back of the headlight. I think it's aluminum so I can't solder. What do I do..?

Thanks Ellpee, The scoot I'm talking about is a 2011. How would I begin taking the under compartment to my seat out..? I've taken out all the visible screws on the seat top but can't fine any other screws for the body. Does the body come off too..? Also, VERY IMPORTANT.. " do you know the fuel filter is located..? It may need changing.
thanks barry

Thanks Ellpee but on both my 2008 and my 2011 there was only one access panel. The 2008 had the panel over the sparkplug buy my 2011 access panel has been moved to the right about 2" or 3", partly over the carb which is dump because it's a sealed carburetor.... I guess I need to take the whole seat pan out and have access to the whole top of the engine. Is that possible..?

Anyone know how to get to the sparkplug on a 2011 Jonway YY250T..? My 2008 YY250T had the seat pan "panel" ( to be remover with a Star driver) right over the sparkplug, the adjusting arms for the valve's were in view as well. This 2011 model is more over the carb.. The sparkplug is not in view. If body parts are to be removed, how do you do that..? Where do you start..? OH, and the fuel filter, where is the damn fuel filter..?
thanks you guys barry

I took my scoot to the shop for a nice little upgrade on my Jonway 2011 YY250T (Honda engine). Reupholster the seat brown, added lighted saddlebags and a lighted trunk with turn signals and a lighted spoiler or wing that when in running light mode instead of brake mode has a "Battle Star Galactica" type scrolling red light. Right to left, right to left. Anyway I lost my headlights and running lights at the same time ( no more scrolling...damn it). I took the rear cover out under the seat to reach the back lights and found a spider web of connectors. The shop wired the shit out of that baby. I have a friend working on this and he said "maybe the stator or the regulator". Battery checks out fine. So far he's got a little power and the headlight are very dim so that's good, right..? What do you guys think..? I still think there's a spider in that web. Bad connection, or ground, wires touching each other, something simple......right..?

No leaks or wetness.... if I'm low on fluid, how do I fill it up..? It's a 2011 Jonway YY250T with 10,000 mi.

Hi kids, new problem. My right hand brake lever pulls completely back to the throttle with no stopping function. Do you guys think I'm low on fluid or just basic bad brakes..? Is there an easy way one guy can fix this..?
thanks

burrhead, Go to Batteries Plus and get the MC-54B ( YY250T) battery with (8 amps I think) and 205 cranking amps. $89.99 ..... This is the correct battery.
