I took my scoot to the shop for a nice little upgrade on my Jonway 2011 YY250T (Honda engine). Reupholster the seat brown, added lighted saddlebags and a lighted trunk with turn signals and a lighted spoiler or wing that when in running light mode instead of brake mode has a "Battle Star Galactica" type scrolling red light. Right to left, right to left. Anyway I lost my headlights and running lights at the same time ( no more scrolling...damn it). I took the rear cover out under the seat to reach the back lights and found a spider web of connectors. The shop wired the shit out of that baby. I have a friend working on this and he said "maybe the stator or the regulator". Battery checks out fine. So far he's got a little power and the headlight are very dim so that's good, right..? What do you guys think..? I still think there's a spider in that web. Bad connection, or ground, wires touching each other, something simple......right..?

It's sounds like the "professionals" at this shop made a mess of it,,,did they use the clamp on style side tap connectors?,,,sometimes the blade that is supposed to tap into the existing feed wire cuts the feed and you loose power,,,I would turn it on and start wiggling the wires around a bit to see if you can localize the break,,,and as mentioned I'd be giving all the ground lugs a real good look over

Sounds like you hung a bunch of new stuff on what is basically your tail/brakelight circuit, so:
If no headlights at all, check the fuse that directs non-battery power to headlights and taillights when the engine is started. The extra load may have blown that fuse (consider upgrading to 20A), OR as cyborg wrote, the guys at the shop may have wired something poorly. If you have a little headlight, fuse is good, but check the latter.
